This made wintertime and study sessions much more bearable. I would just run downstairs and grabs some cereal and milk or some other staples and go back upstairs and keep working! Prices are a little high on regular items, but sometimes it is worth it for the convenience. You can get papers and magazines here too and you could actually rent movies from a small collection. There is coffee if you are running late in the morning and bus tickets that you can grab as you are running out the door. All in all, this is a very handy spot.

We were surprised to find a number of random items in the store, in addition to your usual snack and grocery items. There was a cash register, some electronics, purses, and other miscellaneous items on sale. The prices were all very reasonable and were actually much cheaper than other convenient stores we've been to. We were disappointed that they didn't have any hotdogs, but there were vegetable samosas on sale with sauce for under $2, which I will definitely try the next time I stop by. The lady at the cash register was very sweet. She asked us if we were new to the neighbourhood because she's never seen us before. We'll definitely be going back soon!

The produce was good quality and well stocked, as were most of the other areas. I haven't been to any other grocery stores in the area to see how their prices compare, but in general, prices seemed reasonable. This could easily be a one-stop grocery shop for folks living in the area, and if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels, as was the case for me, it's a great place to pick up a few supplies.

I like that they have some PC stuff. I buy chicken breasts here sometimes... not great prices re meat but I find this store great for pet food, canned goods, pasta etc. Not many checkouts open, ever. I use self serve and I like it although that weight scale can be finicky! I bring my own basket. In and out.

It's kind of sad sometimes to see farm land and forested areas being developed, but the city is expanding and this is progress, so these are really all good things. This store really is big, bright and clean! Kudos to them for opening up during the COVID pandemic!! We will be going here often to stock up on affordable needs. They have a sign in the window that says something like: "affordable isn't a frill". So true, especially in these unprecedented times. In addition to having a great selection of fresh produce and meats, I like that it has a Joe Fresh section as well as a Pharmacy. There's also a Wine Rack inside the store and a Fit4Less. As a PC member, I check the weekly deals in the PC App before I get groceries. I also like that I can view the store's flyer in advance to know what in-store only specials they have. All the times that I have gone to this store, it is always clean and bright and welcoming. The staff has always been nice, too. The only thing that prevents it from getting 5 stars from me is the fact that some of their products can be much more expensive than other competitors like Walmart and Food Basics.

They might not have quite the variety of bigger stores, but when shopping for essentials, they are perfect. This particular location hold a place in my heart as it was my first official job: I would wake up at 3:30am on the weekends to head to work and bake bread! I would still enjoy some of my weekend with friends from high school, and I saved for University. The managers were really great about working the schedule to try and fit everyones needs. We were mostly students working in the bakery and each had our own extra curricular actives and requirements - somehow it all fit together quite nicely. A great place to shop, a nice place to work. Happy to live in the area close to this location!

So firstly, they only have 1 accessible gender neutral washroom and you have to go to customer service to ask for the key. As for the actual grocery store, it's similar to other stores under the Independent Grocers banner in layout and general feel. They didn't have lots of in-store sales or discounted products (beyond the sales advertised in the weekly flyer). I love looking for in-store specials and marked down items, so I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't much and they don't even have a clearance section, or at least I didn't see one. They also didn't have too many exotic products or things not available at other locations or not easily found at other grocery stores, except for some tortilla chips made from spent beer grains. It's a totally acceptable grocery store, but did not give off any "special vibes" for me, haha. This grocery store is located in a plaza. It's next to the Dollarama. Lots of free parking.
