I needed an attorney to help guide and explain the process each step of the way to me (very small steps it takes) I would tell all new client to signing up with Stewart Guss to remember this is YOUR case. You need to stay involved and don't take a backseat. I had a few head injuries which made normal irritations go to the extreme and it was hard for me to comprehend a lot of the timelines and details. I honestly had a handful of melt downs not because of Guss but because of not understanding. However my attorney Evette kept explaining until i could understand/ remember. Everett was the best match for me even though I kept second guessing the match up because I wanted an aggressive insulting attorney- Evette is the opposite. She took her time with me. She's beyond empathetic with anyone with head injuries. Evette understood my frustrations are not directly towards her but directed to my injuries. A lot of other attorneys could have snapped back or escalated and ruined our developing business relationship. Not Evette. This is when I finally got why Stewart Guss teamed us up together..... because it would work. As long as I allowed it to work. Through all my up/ downs in this case I second, triple, quadruple guessed everything because I just wanted to be healthy now and wasn't and I wanted this just over so I could move on in life. However I stayed the course at Evettes direction and literally on year anniversary of being ran over we settled. Im not writing this review because my settlement was a lot higher than I could have ever imagined. I'm not writing this review because Evette took HOURS on the phone with me to keep explaining everything almost weekly to give updates. I'm not writing this review because Evette's co worker Devon is a perfect compliment to each other professionally going that extra step of communicating right when you need it. I'm writing this review because Stewart Guss team of Evette, Devon and Jason proved me wrong. I honestly wanted to give up. I never saw this ending as it was alway something to get something just to go backwards to get something else. They where right :). Stay the course and question absolutely everything until it makes sense- don't just say it does - have it make sense and if you're lucky enough to have a team in the end like I did..... well then you'll be writing a glowing review too!

If you or anyone you know is going through one of the toughest things to deal with in life such as…read morea divorce and/or seeking legal custody of children, I highly recommend Arpita Legha and her team. She is an intelligent, articulate attorney that possesses great empathy towards a most difficult situation. I was very sad to find myself in the situation where I felt divorce was the best option but knew that I needed help to navigate this and am so fortunate I had Arpita by my side through this journey. From the moment I walked in for a consultation, it was very clear that Arpita was first and foremost, a compassionate, honest and caring human being who was invested in helping me through the process over all else. She was the first attorney I met with and I hired her that day, didn't need to interview any others. I was confident she was the best person to guide me through this divorce and she proved me 100% correct. She was ALWAYS extremely communicative, straight forward and accessible. No matter how much time passed between our communications, she was continually dedicated to knowing all the details of my case. Her fees were affordable, and she happily worked with me to formulate a payment plan that I was comfortable with. She was consistent in meeting any deadlines discussed and honest in any challenges she foresaw. When I was led by emotion, she understood behaviors we encountered that I still did not and made sure that she was successful in looking out for the best interest of myself and my children. For this I am extremely grateful. Arpita was a fierce advocate for me and I couldn't have gotten through the process without her. Even though my divorce was final a year and a half ago, she still calls and checks in with me periodically to see how the kids and I are doing ... this is the biggest thing that sets her apart from other family law attorneys, SHE SINCERELY CARES.

I called him at 1am from the airport on my cell and he took my call and emailed me that night within 10 minutes the paper that had been misplaced on our trip to Honduras so we could make a copy and get my wife and 3yrs old son back to Houston. my wife and son would definitely still be in Honduras if not for the quick response and help from Attorney Nguyen he even offered to speak to the airline supervisor for me but she refused. action is everything and I'm glad to know Attorney Nguyen has my back day or night when I have an urgent problem.

Mr. Sullivan represented my son twice and both times he did an excellent job. My son has bipolar…read moredisorder and ADHD and Mr. Sullivan understood how that affected my son's choices and actions. The first time he represented my son he was a juvenile. What impressed me is he spoke to my son and listened to what he had to say. He treated him with respect. The first occasion my son was given some classes and the offense was dropped from his record. The next time we called upon Mr. Sullivan my son was now considered an adult and was being wrongfully accused by the police of evading detention. After Mr. Sullivan heard my son's side of the story he agreed to defend him. He asked us to provide our detailed account of the situation in writing and we did. When we had our first court hearing it was evident that the DA's office was not going to dismiss the case. Mr. Sullivan told my son that if he wanted to go to trial he would fight for him, but it was up to him. I appreciated him asking and fighting for my son! I believe the tenacity of Mr. Sullivan and his insistence on a jury trial are what finally persuaded the DA's office to dismiss charges for my son. Not only did this happen for our son, but the 3 other young men being wrongfully accused also were dismissed. So essentially Mr. Sullivan helped them all by listening, understanding and believing my son and then not allowing us to give up proving it to be a false accusation! I would recommend Mr. Sullivan to anyone who is looking for an honest, understanding, and tenacious attorney!

I had a case of Assault - Bodily Injury (never been in trouble a day in my life) and Nancy Botts who handled my case did absolutely NOTHING in court for the amount of money I paid her. I paid a cash bond to get a court date which was the arraignment and when the date came, I seen a BIG red flag about Nancy who lied and withheld information from me. I should have walked away then but me always trying to see good in people I decided to go forth. Second court date came court began at 9:30, Nancy called me while still in the uber at 9:32 stating I am just going to sign paperwork and do an online course, and my case will be dismissed. Not realizing until I started reading the agreement it was a pretrial intervention not what I wanted or was looking forward too and Nancy never explained that it was a PTI, just baited me to sign paperwork for easy money. I feel like I was scammed. I arrived at court 15 minutes late because of uber. Nancy tells lies for a living, so she lied to her client and didn't inform me of nothing that happened while I wasn't there in court. Nancy never showed me any video evidence , she never spoke to me about my options, never fought for me as her client and just settled for easy money and made a poor decision on my behalf while I was not yet in court. She began to become very rude with and spoke to me very harsh. Had I would have known she was a court appointed attorney I would have never hired her. Please stay away from hiring Nancy, she will not go the extra mile for a dismissal and I regret I hired her and would have paid Mr. Sullivan whatever he asked for a dismissal which is the reason I called him in the first place because of the awesome reviews. Sorry this wasn't a review for Mr. Sullivan and my success story I would have had with him. :-(

From the start, it became clear that they were more interested in racking up billable hours than actually helping me and my child through this difficult process. Every single interaction was an opportunity for them to charge me. Every minute of a phone call, every single email sent or received, every moment spent on even the smallest of tasks -- it was all billed at an exorbitant rate. When my lawyer was let go unexpectedly, I was shocked to learn that they charged me to bring the new attorney up to speed on my case. I couldn't believe it -- after all the money I'd already spent, they were essentially holding me hostage with even more charges. It felt like they were dragging things out intentionally to milk every last dollar from me. This firm is not interested in your well-being or the best interests of your children; they are only interested in their bottom line. They will string you along, offering false hope and empty promises, all while ensuring their invoices keep growing. I deeply regret ever hiring them and would advise anyone considering their services to think twice. Your case deserves better than to be treated like a cash cow.
