Sea Waves Fish Bar is probably my favourite chip shop in these parts. The chips are nice and crispy, the fish is great but it is the doner kebabs that are incredible. I can't even attempt to intellectualise or rationalise this, there's just something magical about the way Sea Ways combine cheap sheep off-cuts, lettuce, pitta and mint sauce. The cod is top quality (there are various grades available to chippies, Joe uses the top). The only thing that could add to the delight would be to have them served straight on newspaper.
