This is a place I've been wanting to go for a very long time and kept putting off for some random reasons. Anyway, we finally made it to Harvey road tavern.
I had high expectations from the food here, and they lived up to it!!
I had chicken schnitzel and my husband had steak. I'm always sceptical if I order chicken and mostly it fails my expectations. For the first time in Gladstone, I was satisfied with my chicken. Most restaurants tend to serve chicken breast that over cook and turn dry, or there's not enough seasoning or sauce.
This one was perfect! Moist from the inside and crispy from the outside. Perfect seasoning and the sauce was excellent!
My husband also enjoyed his steak a lot.
For dessert we had macadamia tart. Melt in the mouth treat. It was the perfect way to end our dinner.
The place has good family crowd and there's a little indoor play ground for the kids with cameras inside to monitor the kids while you have your food. We don't have kids yet, but if we did, it would be great to keep an eye out for them while we ate.
Only small issue we had was with the server. She was a little slow and non attentive.
