Harvey dentistry has the best dental practice I have ever gone to. Their employees are caring and gentle. From the time I walk in until I left they made me feel like I was one of their family members. I had no anxiety and was given very explicit help in determining the right procedures I needed to take. I've been going here since I was a little girl. The staff has always been friendly and I like the doctors. They fit me in if I have a problem and I don't have to wait long. I'd recommend going here because they can do anything you need. read more

These people at Harvey and Associates are the best! Everyone is reassuring and keeps you at ease. Cleaning, repairs, surgeries, and crowns are superb and painless. My last crown was a few minutes wait to get it immediately. I did not have a temporary crown that gets replaced at a later date; they did it in house! I highly recommend their team! read more

History

Established in 2009.

Although the practice has been around for over 50 years, Dr. Harvey changed the name to Harvey and Associates Family Dentistry in 2009 when he came on board.

Meet the Business Owner: Dr. William H.

Dr. Harvey, a fifth generation Kinstonian, was honored to have the opportunity to move back to his hometown to serve the community where he was raised. Dr. Harvey graduated from Parrott Academy, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Dental School. Since graduation, Dr. Harvey has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education courses beyond the required fifteen hours as bringing the most comprehensive, up-to-date dental care to his patients is his passion. He has attended the Scottsdale Center for Spear Education, one of the profession's premier post-graduate institutes, the prestigious Nash Institute, the Triangle Dental Institute for Oral Implantology and many others. He is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the North Carolina Dental Society, the American Dental Assocation, a trustee of the 5th District Board of the North Carolina Dental Society, a member of Seattle Study Club.

My husband and his family have been going here for almost 25 years, so of course they were highly recommend. Scheduling an appointment was super easy. The recyptionist is wonderful to talk with, she did not rush through my call and was able to get me in super quick. I was a few min late bc it's a little hard to find if your not from around here, but I was still seen in a timely manner. The dental assistant was a sweet heart and talked me through every thing she was doing. Best cleaning I've ever had. I was relaxed the whole time. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Already set up a visit for my toddler as wall as another cleaning for myself.

The last time I was there, my appointment was at 4pm. I was there at 3:45pm and a guy who checked in at 4:30 for a 4:45 was seen within 10 minutes and I was still waiting to be called back. I got a lame excuse about Hispanics coming in for walk-ins and that set them back a bit. Sadly it takes me at least 2-2.5 hours to be seen every time I go there. I will be changing my doctor back to the one I was seeing 30 miles away. Even with the drive, It will be a lot faster.

I have always been treated well when visiting this office. Have been serviced by several hygienist and each one has been careful and cautious while preforming their duties. I appreciate how they take care of me and would be in much better condition had I followed all the advice they offered me over the years.
