Read all of them other reviews and some have merit and others questionable. Folks need to think of what the store is doing to begin with. Not advertised as having all new merchandise but simply used items that may be useful for somebody and certainly worthwhile to continue the operation to provide support for those less fortunate folks. I do agree that many of the items are pricey for a thrift store and the store does need a bit of sprucing and cleaning and perhaps some better assisted management folks on staff. A difficult situation for this type of operation. Those out of state folks that gave bad reviews must have experienced some classy thrift shops along the way but it is what it is and it does serve a purpose. Odors? Not as fresh as a store selling new merchandise and perhaps could be addressed by management but not all that bad. Leftover yard sale items? Possibly true that many things are donated when not sold at area yard sales. A way to fill some empty spaces and may even find a good home. Not everything there for everybody but an occasional goody may be found. Stop in and share your opinions with management and even lend a hand if time permits. Nursing/breast feeding in the store? Could be a distraction for some, as not the norm in most shopping areas but I do agree that it could have been handled in a different manner without relegating you to a rest room. Another thing to be discussed with management that could result in a more favorable solution for everyone. All said, give the folks a chance and offer suggestions instead of writing a bad review. I used to be a regular customer here and genuinely enjoyed shopping at this store, but I've stopped going because of how uncomfortable some of the male staff have made me feel. On multiple visits, I was stared at and looked over in a way that felt inappropriate and made me feel unsafe rather than welcome. This isn't about one bad interaction, it became a pattern, and it's disappointing that this kind of behavior seems to be tolerated. I want to caution other women, especially if you're shopping alone, to be aware of this. I can't in good conscience continue supporting a business where customers are made to feel this way by staff. I'd love to see this addressed, because the store itself has good finds, but I won't be returning until the environment actually feels safe and respectful for everyone. read more

They've moved locations again and have gotten better than the other reviews. Housewares are well stocked but inconsistently priced, some glasses are $2 then an identical one down the shelf is $1. I have found some good clothes and shoes- if you catch the right colored barb sales the prices are good. However, the furniture is WAYYYY overpriced and they do not mark it down even if it has been sitting for months on end. If you do get lucky enough to have a cashier who is willing to ring the manager, they negotiate on price but if you are looking for furniture to flip, this is not the place. I stopped in Harvest Thrift Store Opelika AL for the first time today , shopped around .Found a book section , as I was looking at the books I was texting a coworker at the same time . As I stood there an older man walks up to me and said I need to stop picking their books and go shopping at goodwill instead. I told him I was looking at books . He proceeded to ask me why I wanted them and what was I going to do with them. I was speechless!!! Then he asked me why was I on my phone looking at books ??? I complained to the lady who checked me out . I never in a million years would think I would be harassed in a Christian Thrift Store. Shame ! read more

This is my favorite thrift store in Auburn. I always find cute clothing items here! I appreciate that they have multiple dressing rooms. They could improve the cleanliness of the dressing rooms (dirty floors) and the lighting (super dark, have to use my cell phone flashlight sometimes), but they do have full length mirrors and I don't have to wait on a room. There's also a return rack outside the dressing rooms, which is nice! They have a good amount of furniture, shoes, etc. I always go for the clothes and can't leave without buying something! I do think it's overpriced, though. I'm used to going to thrift stores and getting things for less than a dollar. But I know that the money is going to charity, so I'm willing to spend. I have found some brand name items, too, like a Nike tennis skirt with no flaws and an Underarmour Auburn hoodie :). The staff is always really nice, as well! :) Definitely recommend! :) read more

I was very disappointed with the quality of there merchandise. I did find a few books but couldn't find another thing. I guess Auburn doesn't have as good of thrift stores as the Atlanta area. Although if you are looking for furniture they had a lot but I didn't look at that. read more

I normally don't post bad reviews. But I have to in this case. This place STINKS!!!! About 10 mins was all my daughter and I could take. We enjoy a good thrift store and get really excited about some of our finds. So I am definitely not a person who thinks thrift stores are beneath me. With that said this place is gross, nasty and did I mention it stinks!!! I know thrift stores don't smell like new stores but this place was ridiculous. The few minutes we were in the store the merchandise we did look at was over priced. And even though there were signs with sizes nothing was on the right rack. Not impressed at all. read more

I was nursing my daughter in the back, where the restrooms are located and was asked by the staff to go into the restroom to breast feed my child because I was "making the male staff uncomfortable" (even though I was covering her with a blanket . They moved my chair into the bathroom and I had to stare at the disgusting toilets while I was feeding her. I was very disappointed and haven't shopped there since. read more
