The exact verbiage from the contract is, "The Contractor is not liable for damage to hidden water, electrical, gas, and/or HVAC lines." However, in the photo sent of the damage, the HVAC line is clearly visible. When we pointed out that the line was clearly visible, they claimed they were still not responsible and would cover just $250 of the $2133, but only if we removed the 1-star Google review we had just left. After several attempts to get in touch with the contact on the contract and the business owner, we got no response.

They asked if they could go on my roof to check how extensive the damage was and after they took pictures and contacted my insurance company I was so shocked when the claim was approved by my insurance company. So apparently they knew what they were doing. I especially liked how they were willing to go the extra mile to offer their help that was not a part of the roofing service, like even offering to cut my grass before the workers came to do the work. I feel like they are a part of my family.
