I can't say enough good things about Rudy at Cruzan Marine. After dealing with other mechanics who…read morewere giving me the runaround and trying to sell unnecessary work, finding Rudy was a huge relief. Rudy is knowledgeable, honest, and extremely good at diagnosing problems. Instead of guessing or replacing random parts, he actually takes the time to understand what's going on and explain it clearly. What really sets him apart is that he's not a salesman -- he's a true mechanic. He tells you what needs to be done, what doesn't, and why. In my case he identified several issues that other mechanics either missed or handled poorly and fixed them the right way. He communicates well, shows up when he says he will, and clearly takes pride in doing things properly. On top of that he's friendly, straightforward, and just a genuinely good person to deal with. If you own a boat and need a mechanic, do yourself a favor and call Rudy first. It will save you time, money, and a lot of frustration. Highly recommended!
