In the meanwhile an online contact company came to the rescue by confirming my Rx, sending out the free samples with case and solution, along with checking how I was doing with them several times.

My 94 yr old mother took a tumble yesterday and bent her glasses. Since she'd purchased the glasses…read moreat ABBA, we of course headed there for help. We were the only customers in the store and as such, were immediately escorted back to the station of an optition, "Tony ". We explained what we needed and my mom barely got the glasses out of her pocket before he said, "Those can't be fixed". Nonetheless, she handed them to him and turns out that because of the type of wire frame they were, he WAS able to reattach the arm that was off. The other side was bent and I had to ask to have that straightened. The small plastic nosepieces were also gone but he said he didn't have any of those to replace them, even temporarily with something similar. Really...in a store that sells, repairs and adjusts glasses....no extra nosepieces around? He said, "Go to Visionworks...they do that stuff there...I used to work there." We had no choice but to, indeed, go to Visionworks. Their waiting room was packed in comparison. Despite a 30 minute wait, their optition replaced the nosepieces and adjusted the glasses for her, all while being pleasant and conversational. Plus, there was no charge even though she was not an established customer. Our family is finished with ABBA.

Dr. Hellman is a miracle worker, literally. I am 78 years…read moreold and I had "droopy eye lids". My vision was cloudy, especially my left eye as it was the worse. Driving a car was getting to be an issue, same with prolonged reading. My eyes felt like they had something in them and friends said I looked tired. Then, on May 20, 2021, Dr. Hellman operated on both eyes and fixed my droopiness. My vision improved almost immediately. The cloudiness and eye irritation went away and I could finally see clearly. It has been just over a month since the operation, which was painless, my eyelids have been lifted up significantly and my vision is improved drastically. Not only that, but since Dr. Hellman removed the excess skin numerous comments about my youthful looking eyes keep coming in. Many people have stated that my eyelids are obviously improved. I wish I took before and after pictures...Dr. Hellman did take those pictures and I give him permission to use them any time he wishes. Thank you, Dr. Hellman, I appreciate your professional and yet friendly care. Thank you, thank you, thank you. One very happy patient Paul Carreras

Firstly the service…read moreis bad, despite making an appointment I had to wait for atleast 45 minutes and secondly they are very UNETHICAL. I repeat very UNETHICAL. I had requested for a regular eye examination and paid for a regular visit, however, during my eye test the doctor (or whoever performed the test) asked me about how my vision was and during that time I happened to mention that I sometimes had blurry vision when I woke up in the morning (which wasn't anything important). Based on this information, Rocky Mountain Eye center took the privilege to recode the nature of my visit from a regular examination to a medical examination (which my insurance didn't cover) without my knowledge. They didn't provide any extra care/ service besides the freaking eye test that comes as a part of regular eye exam. However, a month later I received a hefty bill from them. Reasoning with their billing department was futile and their representatives were nothing but Rude. Now, they have asked me to pay my outstanding bill in Full to prevent proceedings from Collection agency. Went to get an eye exam today and omg the unprofessionalism and customer service of Americas best…read morewas HORRIBLE!! I retract that the first few people I spoke with were amazing. The manager Gene on the other hand was a complete piece of rude and unbothered mess! I've been in there before and seen him interact with other people and always told my husband he was a jerk. But this time the attitude was at me and no thank you! The utter disreguard and dismissal I recieved from him was crazy! So your looking for a place for an eye exam and need to be treated with respect and dignity don't go to America's Best in Pueblo! I will NEVER go back and will be taking my business to anyone else! Ways to improve- get organized and create a schedule where everyone knows what's going on. Being there and knowing you're going to have wait for please 90 mins is crazy! Especially if the manager Gene is a condescending, chauvinistic disrespectful human. I've seen him multiple times treat people so poorly. In fact the place I finally went and filled my Prescription with even stated how so many people come to them because how they were treated by Americas best, and mentioned Gene's name before I can a chance to say it lol. So he's the root of the problem. I'm sure if a was a male I would of been treated better, because once I came out of the room he was chatting it up and laughing with the other male that was in the waiting room. When I only first asked him a question because I heard my name was called - not to mention durning the virtual appointment you can hear everything the doctor is saying! Huge HIPPA violation!!! This place needs an overhaul and tons of education for their staff! Start from the top and give teach Gene how to treat others even if he doesn't like the way the look or who they are. I would NEVER treat another the person the way he treated me for simply asking a question. Please don't go here and support a business who allows their manager to treat people in the manner I was treated with today! I will NEVER go back or ever recommend anyone else to ever go there as long as Gene is the manager.
