We had ordered two dumpsters and had them delivered with no issues. When they were full we realized that we needed two more. We called to have the two removed and paid for two more to be delivered using two different cards. I had ordered another the previous week that they werent able to deliver but they had refunded my money at that time even though they had not picked up either dumpster. There have been rainy days since and clear days since. They only schedule the pick up of the full dumpsters and delivery of empty on rainy days and say they are backed up on clear days. This has delayed us for two weeks. I have been polite and patient. Today I call and politely ask, hey do you know when the driver is gonna give it another try because we have excavating equipment reserved for this weekend and we were gonna cancel that equipment if he wasn't able to get to us. I went on to make casual, friendly conversation with her about how the weather has been awful and we had a late spring. She said he had us on the schedule for tomorrow but it was supposed to rain. I thanked her and told her to have a good day. After discussing with my husband, I call back and said, Ma'am I hate to ask but is there any way your driver could fit us in today since it's not raining. She immediately became short and said there is no way he is too busy! I said ok I understand. I just have to get the rest of that demolition done so I will probably have to go ahead and get a redund if he can't. She said well let's go ahead and do it then. I said do what? She said do the refund. I said, ok that would be great. She wouldn't even check with him to see if he could come out. Then she refused to give me the $1000 back that I had put towards the empty dumpsters to be delivered because one of the full dumpsters that I had already paid for hadn't been picked up yet. The $1000 was towards the payment of empty dumpsters. She said part of that is MY money. I said how? She said in case you go over the weight. I said thats not what that money is for. You charge the card if I go over the weight. The whole time we are on the phone she covers it with her hand and is talking about me. She said how many times do we have to go over this and laughs. I said why are you talking to me like I am a child. She said because you are acting like one. At this point I realize that I am dealing with unprofessional, unreasonable individuals and unfortunately they have my debit card number and are refusing to put my money back. They have no plans of picking up that dumpster next week because she said it is going to rain most of next week and she said it will take days for my blacktop driveway to dry up and they seem to be busy on dry days. She says part of that $1000 is "MY" money even though it was not charged for possible overage. It was charged for empty dumpster return. At this time they are returning part of one of the $500 payments but we have yet to see the return. Part of it was put towards an overage in the taller dumpster. It could be weeks before the other dumpster is picked up. I don't see how it's right to hold $500 of the money for possible overage when the last one that was much taller was only $70 more. At that time they could charge my debit card again instead of hold $500 of my money that was charged specifically for an empty dumpster return. I was told by different people today that I was and then I wasn't getting my money returned today. My credit union posts items immediately. I spoke with them today. They told me to request a return of the money immediately and they would post it right away as usual. If not done, I am supposed to call back tomorrow. I have taken photos of my perfectly dry driveway that my husband made sure was clear this afternoon. If it is not picked up in the morning I will talk to my bank about fraudulent charges. Will never use them for anything again! Thank goodness they are not my local trash service! read more
