Asked a nurse for directions once and was really friendly. Got to the right place, was registered and told to sit in the waiting room for my appointment. Got there a little early so as not to miss my 2pm appointment. Ended up waiting another HOUR til they called my name. What's the point of an appointment time then? Such a tease. Doctor was nice and helpful though. Hopefully can just email and phone the doctor from now on. Do not want to have to travel all the way over here again.

My GP wanted me to get an x-ray, and said I could either go up on my own to Northwick Park and go to the x-ray department, or wait until the Northwick Park people went to my surgery, which is only once a week. So I decided it was best to get it out of the way and off I went. Within an hour of seeing my GP, I was at Northwick Park, waiting for my x-ray - but not for long. From the moment I checked in to when I left, having had the x-rays? 14 minutes. Can't really complain about that! It's 4 star instead of 5 as the walk from the tube is quite long (especially when you're sick or hurting) and the snarl of traffic in the front made the wait for the bus quite long.

The rooms are spacious with en suite bathrooms and meals are provided for visitors as well as patients fo a small fee. the staff are very pleasant and helpful. the classes provided help to ease stress and help to improve self esteem and confidence to prepare the patient to cope better with life.
