Of course at school you get some teachers that are nice and some that are less pleasant to deal with. I always found it be modern, fresh and with great facilities. I actually went to two secondary schools and this was the better of the two, I must say! If you live in the local area and are looking for somewhere to send our children I would recommend it because they are very dedicated to providing the best experience and there are some really great results form this school.

My child attended the nursery at this school in 2019 and I also had an older child in PP2. I have now taken them both out of this school and have sent them to Alpha prep (where I couldn't be happier with). My child was in nappies when she first started attending the nursery, which they were not happy with. I was in the process of potty training her but she was finding this difficult to get the hang of. I was then shocked to find changes of clothes in her bag when she was coming home from nursery. The staff would remove her nappy when entering the nursery and expect her to know how to use the toilet. Absolutely shocking way to treat my child. I would never recommend any child to be sent here, especially not for a private school fee.

Before this I was at a state school in Chipstead, then I moved here. I then understood how brilliant Cumnor was, in terms of its education, teacher support, activities, facilities and possibilities. It really set me on the straight and narrow towards getting into my chosen secondary school. I found that Cumnor perfectly sets you up for later life and has a really wonderful vibe about it. Recently they have also opened up a nursery for younger children in their privately owned school fields and grounds.

It's a bit difficult to find on the first visit as it's a concrete block hidden between the main building and the Westway flyover. Now that I know the way, I'll definitely return, perhaps not just for Rikki's class.

I used to have to schelp to Kensal but this is now much more convenient for me as it's a stroll from Royal Oak station. When going there for the first time take note that the entrance is actually on the side past the garage, not the main road. The sports hall is enormous and the parkour class shares the space with a basketball class but there's no clash and the two can occur concurrently with few problems. The floor is great (new), slightly squishy and with lots of markings for various sports, and the equipment is all super new which means it's very satifying to play with. The class itself is really good. An excellent workout in the warm up and warm down and a good level of challenging but achievable exercises working on various skills like congs, tic-tacs and sideways monkeys. i.e. jumping on, around or over stuff. It's really hard work but good fun and the instructors are very good. The only down side to the centre is that it's so new they have yet to put in vending machines so you can't get any drinks or snacks.

The quality of faculty that I have interacted with has been very good, but I obviously cannot generalise that to all the faculty. Classrooms are large and spacious. Enough elevators, washrooms on alternate floors. A cute little cafeteria downstairs that serves good coffee. Will check out some pastries the next time I'm there. City lit is meant to focus on continuing education and they offer a huge range of vocational subjects too. I saw a lot of posters regarding counselling for jobs and courses, so they are concerned with skills that can be used to up your resume or make a job change. - massage, therapy, computers, languages etc But they also offer courses in drama, food, wine tasting and jewellery design. The Enrolment staff are very helpful and I have studied French there,I also started Art History but the teacher was so boring, if I had stayed she would've killed any love I had for Art! Enrol early this is a popular place.
