I have had a leak in my room for the last 4 days, it was meant to be fixed months ago but apparently it's "too difficult to fix" and is "more complicated that it looks". Not for these guys though. I spoke to a lovely chap called Tom on the phone, I then emailed him the problem and my address and within an hour Don was here. He looked at the problem, we discussed how to fix it and then he toddled off to Wicks to by the right bits. 30 minutes later he's back, hammer and nails in hand, cutting perspex, painting, drilling. All totally friendly and polite. I can not praise these guys any higher. They were fab. After all that work and £193.79 later I have a new non-smell, non-damp, without a leak window. It turned out to take longer than an hour but in the process he identified another problem which had been causing low water pressure throughout the house for a long time. He fixed that problem in addition to fitting the tap, taking him something over 2 hours all up, but he still only charged us for 1 hour as that was what he'd quoted on the phone. He is a knowledgeable and competent plumber and we'll definitely go back to him in the future.

When I got through to him 2 hours after he was supposed to show up, he neither seemed like he was aware that he was coming nor very apologetic. He then said he would only be able to get there 3-4 hours later, which would mean that he couldn't finish the job. When I mentioned that we had ordered in the appliances and taken off work for this appointment, his only comment was, if you want me to come, you need to get off the phone. He ended his delightful service by hanging up on me. DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Worst service I've ever had from a handyman and even worse you can't trust him to show up!
