Steve's speed is truly remarkable...he turned around quotes and addressed our questions incredibly fast. What really stood out was his honesty and deep knowledge of the Folsom area. Highly recommend Steve and Carlson Agency.

Avoid at All Costs - Unprofessional and Incompetent!…read more If I could give zero stars, I would. Maria Britton - Farmers Insurance is hands down the most unprofessional, incompetent, and misleading insurance agency I have ever dealt with. I received a quote for a bundled auto and home insurance policy, agreed to move forward, and canceled my previous insurance based on their word. That's where the nightmare began. For two straight weeks, they strung me along, constantly asking for more documents--even after I had submitted everything they requested. Just when I thought the ordeal was over, they had the audacity to reject my policy because I didn't submit service records for a car that is TWO MONTHS OLD--a car that doesn't even require servicing yet! This agency is nothing but a bunch of scammers who waste your time, put you at risk, and leave you uninsured after you've already canceled your previous coverage. Their complete lack of professionalism and disregard for their customers is beyond disgraceful. Do yourself a favor: RUN, don't walk, away from this agency and find a competent insurance provider that won't put you in jeopardy. Absolute garbage company.

I'm not giving a 4 or 5 stars yet since I will need to wait and see if they do reach out to me closer to my renewal date as they said they would. Haley was very nice and for this call, good customer service. The biggest problem at this business appears being able to get to talk to a live agent. I would hope this isn't also indicative of service in time of emergency. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Is the question that pops up when start to leave a review…read more Well let's start off with how long it takes to file a claim and how quickly they are to tell you they will do the best possible job to make this as cheap as possible. Excuse me, my house is not cheap and it sure doesn't look like a cheap apartment. Our issues happened Super Bowl Sunday. A flood from our upstairs bathrooms. I contacted a mediation company and got someone here right away. Mediation company kept telling the insurance adjuster that they needed to tear out our floors to make sure that they could dry the subfloors. The insurance insisted on leaving blowers and dehumidifiers for three weeks, even though the mediation company kept on telling them that it was not going to work. Getting mercury to finally agree for the mediation company to do their job was a freaking nightmare. It is April 31 and we are still living in a freaking mess due to the insurance cutting a check with our mortgage company and then our mortgage company endorsing that check to get it back to our bank. Insurance is the biggest fraud their is, they are so quickly to take your money or cancel you if you happen to miss a payment but when it comes to them responding and taking care of a claim, that's when they look for 1001 reasons not to pay out.
