Multiple people referred me to Dr. Albanese, and I'm very glad they did. The experience was as smooth and professional as you could possibly expect (hey, we're talking about wisdom teeth being taken out here, it's not something you do for fun...) and I'm really glad I went here. Dr. Albanese himself was very professional and answered all my questions (I had a lot, given my negative experience at the other place with my other tooth) ahead of the operation. Scheduling was easy and the offices are beautiful - my understanding is they are brand new and they certainly look like it. The procedure itself was super smooth, well coordinated and prepared, and much better than the last one I had done. Post-op, I had some pain, as you always do, and I called to ask about it. Dr. Albanese called me right back and gave me a different prescription that is so far getting the job done. Overall very happy with the experience. Dr. Albanese knows what he's doing, and has excellent patient communication. Highly recommend.

He recommended Zoom to whiten my teeth, and the results were fantastic! I have a crown on my #9 tooth which is the top front tooth and very difficult to match to the #10 tooth but not for Dr Franck, he loves a challenge. I'm also doing veneers on either side of my two front teeth as well as a little bonding on my canines, that has been totally painless and so worth it. The dentist came in afterward for the new patient exam and spent it selling. It had come up in conversation that I was planning orthodontics and eventually implants, and that I already had my specialists chosen. That was the end of anything clinical. He used my appointment time trying to transfer that treatment to himself and his own network. His entire argument was that specialists are expensive, made while he rubbed his fingers together at me in the universal gesture for money. It was crass. I told him flatly that I could afford it, but he wouldn't stop pitching. That was it. Nothing about my teeth, my gums, my bone, or how any of it should be sequenced. Just that the people specifically trained to do this work charge more than he does, delivered with performed concern for my budget by the man who conveniently wanted the case. He never probed my periodontal pockets. I kept waiting for it through the whole appointment and it never came, and he never raised my periodontal status with me at all, even though it's the measurement that determines whether someone can support implants in the first place. Had an appointment after the practice was taken over by the current group, the dentist refused to treat me without x rays and kicked me out. The message is loud and clear, your money is more important than your wellbeing, to this practice. Very sad! The staff had always been friendly and pleasant, wil miss them.

But I had never had such severe pain. I went back because the pain was still there. The dentist did x-rays again and said, the only thing there was a "very small cavity" . It shouldn't be causing such bad pain. We will schedule you for a future appointment for a cleaning and to have the tooth fixed. So, when they could get me in for the appointment, the dentist started working on the "small cavity" which ended up being the worst root canal I have ever had! But there was no reason for my pain!! There was nothing wrong with me! The dentist said that it was extremely deep and he had a hard time getting it to stop bleeding. I always feel rushed. And they are extremely expensive.
