We were there on an overcast Friday, so they weren't busy. Every employee was masked, said hello, asked if we needed help, and then left us alone when we explained we were just kicking tires. While there are certainly some high end things, we were pleasantly surprised by the prices on some things, like lighting. We found many fixtures that we liked that were in our price range. I'm not sure what more I could ask for in visiting a showroom. I got lots of ideas, as well as an idea of what I can and cannot afford. I left with several catalogues. I was never pressured at all, nor was I made to feel like I was in the way for not being a serious customer, rolling in with dimensions and timelines. Fast forward go 2023, our faucets developed some flow issues and the plumber we hired to repair them caused more issues than they fixed. I decided to deal with the problem myself and went back to Ferguson to ask for help. Not only did the parts department take the time to find the schematic for my faucet (which is being retired by the manufacturer I learned) but when they couldn't find anyone who had the part in stock they took me to the Business Manager who took my info and said she'd look into it. Due to her help I'm now getting new faucets covered under warranty and she did ALL the work to help me! I don't know if/when we will do another remodel, but our fixtures will come from Ferguson for sure!

What a cute place! Staff were cheerfully greeting us left and right. They had so many of them! What an energetic lot as well. We were offered a cart twice as we wandered around and I find that so welcoming as a couple of my regular nurseries, as lovely as they are, have never taken the time to do the same. As we are literally on the verge of fall, pumpkins, mums, pansies, colourful ornamental cabbages etc. etc. in all their gloriousness were everywhere! They even had a few discounted summer plants too. For a small store they had a good variety of everything. We especially loved the pots and decorations inside the store. They carry products that I don't see in other garden shops which was a nice change. Although we didn't pick up anything today as I'm still in the planning stage of my flowerbed, we will be back once my ideas are more solid. As a non-gardener I don't want to buy everything on a whim, although it takes a lot of restraint, because all the plants and flowers are super enticing but would rather map things out in a drawing first. I told him we have got touch up paint from here before and he continued to tell me I had not. After he gave me the wrong paint he looked in the computer again and found where we purchased before. Their solution was for me to look up information from the internet. If I wanted to get the product cheaper, but without any assistance if needed, I would have purchased it cheaper online in the first place. Zero customer service, got rid of most treatment products we always bought there, and prices twice as high as anywhere else, so sadly we will no longer take our business there.
