A whole aisle of just chisels, tons of planes, saws, lathes, and cool turning tools I've never even heard of. I saw lots of different kinds of wood stock, and a bunch of cross cut slabs ready to go. So much more than that but there's a sample. I wasn't in there for anything in particular, just checking it out, but I overheard a few conversations with the staff, and they really know their stuff. They also hold classes there for people of all levels so you can learn how to use routers, lathes, scroll saws, or seemingly anything else you might want to use to shape wood. If you are thinking about starting a wood project, start here instead of a big box store, these people will give you some individual attention and help you find the right materials.

So I…read morepulled out my my camera on my phone and clicked some pictures and here I am to sing the praises of Minick materials. Our purpose today was to look at some of their products and do some comparing to see exactly what we needed for a future project we would be doing. Our family has been using the supplies that are sold here for sometime. We have purchased landscaping rock, aka chop, along with mulch, flagstone and crushed rock with screenings. We have done many home-improvement projects over the years and we always enjoy the fabulous customer service that we get each time we visit Minick materials. In fact today, the staff was so sweet and kind as to give each of my children a gift from under their Christmas tree! My youngest daughter felt that gesture was extremely thoughtful and all were so grateful. The pros: Excellent products, top rate customer service, extremely professional employees, highly knowledgeable staff, prices are very reasonable and finally they make obtaining what you need hassle free. They do offer delivery but we have always used our trailer to pick up our purchase. I have even sent my landscaper over to have him pick items up and with a simple phone call I can pay over the phone so that he can deliver them to my house. I cannot think of any cons about this business at all. I hope you enjoy your visit to Minick materials as much as we do.

Long story short, thanks to the power of YouTube and countless Pintrest pages and others that have come before, I'm tackling fixing up, which includes rewiring, a Power Wheels Barbie Pink Mustang that I found on large trash day. At least one of the motors is shot. I needed some very tiny female disconnect terminals, which will allow me to connect the existing wiring from the battery to two new motors. The big box home improvement stores did not have them, nor did the hobby stores. After a few random phone calls around OKC, I was directed to Hunzicker Brothers. I made a call and after a brief conversation, felt that they had exactly what I needed. I brought in the new motors, and was assisted the moment I walked in. Friendly staff.
