This is not your average pub food. The chef puts a lot of effort in presentation, authenticity, and variety. They also have a nice eclectic brunch. Great hidden gem, I love Harps, we found this place to have a very nice sounding environment along with the indoor setting very warm and inviting. Wait Staff all were on top of their game, making sure they sanitized after each customer. I found the menu to be quite tastefully diverse. My all time favorite is the Brussels Sprouts w/bacon and aioli is to die for I've tried many and these are by far Top of my list. Great place for dinner anytime of the week. read more

I have been there in the evening for happy hour, and shepherds pie, and I have tried the plank salmon. Gave it a second chance... Just don't understand how you can 45 minutes to make fish-n-chips that came out room temp. The shepherds pie on the other hand was HOT, rightfully so as it's served in cast iron. Salad had too much dressing and we should have asked for that on the side. The salad was crisp and fresh. I'll go back for the bar as they have great local beers and a friendly bar staff. Not going to be ordering from the menu . Could be a poor kitchen manager or a wait staff that's just not in the right gear, the hustle gear that is. Kids meals are a good value for what that's worth. We're so glad we visited Harps - it's very different than the previous restaurant and a big improvement! The decor and atmosphere was cute. The service was VERY good - our server was very friendly and prompt. We ordered the poutine - they manage to keep the fries crispy even with gravy on them - very good. The food was really good. I really love the ambiance of the restaurant. I live nearby and really enjoy coming in to enjoy an appetizer and a glass of wine, The bartenders are amazing with one exception..... I believe his name is Tyler. He is so unfriendly and seems to be miserable. I have sat at the bar for dinner multiple times and he is always miserable. Pleasantly surprised we stopped in at Harp's! It is decorated really cute, everyone was following COVID guidelines with cleaning & masks, and the wing appetizer we ordered was delicious! They were smoked and then oven-charred, topped with something like a spicy aioli, and came with a side of a yummy spicy slaw. I ordered chili, the "special", which was a literal cup of chili with zero condiments. And I mean a cup, like 6 bites. Also ordered the fish fry which was good, minus the soggy fries. The food was really delicious, but the service was so bad. We waited at least 10 minutes for our waitress to get to our table. She only brought 3 of 4 drinks, and took a while bringing out the 4th. Mind you, these were teas and sodas only. Pitiful. We got calamari and Brussel sprouts apps. No plates... Both those apps were amazing, by the way. I liked the breading of the calamari. We got some entree dishes and they were all great, hilights on salmon and pork chop. The sides were tasty. Mashed potatoes were well loved. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it. We went to Harps for their 'soft opening.' This is in the same location as the old Fiddlers Green. We really enjoyed it. They have redone the place and made it more updated and trendy. My husband who is gluten free ordered the chicken breast sandwich minus the bun, French fries and a spinach salad. All were very tasty. The amount of chicken breast was awesome! Usually when he orders a sandwich -minus the bun, it is a tiny little breast. Not this one!! It was 2 breasts and covered in cheese. He really liked it. The band Almost Alice was playing. we had a great lunch. the poutine was good. The shepards pie was very filling with peas and carrots that still had some snap to them, very fresh and tasty. Wife had the corned beef rueben and it was excellent, the slaw on it was really flavorful. Burger was juicy and tasty as well. Would recommend them for lunch. We will be coming back for dinner with some other adult couples to have some drinks and try some of the other menu items like the fish n chips and the pork chops. Haven't been here since Fiddlers Green closed. Sat at the bar and ordered a drink. The bar had a decent amount of people sitting at it but they were spaced out which was excellent. The outdoor seating was also being used however it was WAY too humid to sit out there. The dining tables were empty and the chairs were up on top of them. The kitchen was playing latin music which was much better than the music they had on in the restaurant area. The bar top is copper which was actually clean. No sign of drink rings. Excellent. The staff was friendly but far more worried about closing time which is 4 pm on a Sunday. That is a weird time to close. We paid and left. Nothing in particular stood out as being good or bad. We were not offered a menu but the food looked phenomenal. A huge plate of chips went out to a lady at the other side of the bar. We would return when in the area. read more

Went for corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's Day. Disappointed! The only thing that was good was the corned beef. The potato and cabbage had no flavor. Very little cabbage, and the carrots were not fully cooked. It was served in a aluminum to go container, very tacky. Could have use better disposable plates. Wow! What an incredible dinner! We went last night. I had the pork chop and the bf had the shepherds pie. Both were AWESOME and large portions (yay for leftovers!) and very fair prices! We are foodies who literally travel all over for food, and let me tell you the quality here is top notch! We will no longer have to drive to Tampa or St Pete for a great meal. I can say in all honestly this is the best restaurant in the area now. They even changed my mind about mashed sweet potatoes (I typically don't care for them) but theirs were a perfect preparation & pairing with the pork chop. I also tried a bite of shepherds pie and it too was full of flavor, truly outstanding. We shared the giant pretzel which was also very good. The only thing that could have been a little better was the cheese that came with the pretzel, flavor was nice but it was a little mealy/not smooth. Everything else was PERFECTION though and we can't wait to return! Our server Nicole was wonderful as well, friendly, informative and prompt. We even got to speak with the manager about how much we enjoyed our experience. We will be back often and highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

No longer a bar with pub food. It has amazing food, great staff, and it is well lit. Menu is smaller but offers food choices similar to other great restaurants in the area like Craftstreet or Zim Zari. The burgers are excellent, the lobster Mac and cheese is amazing. He's such an asset to any restaurant, and we're lucky he's here! The menu isn't all over the place and fits perfect for an Irish Pub. We've tried the Maple Glazed Pork Chops, Shepard's Pie and the Housemade Corned Beef Sandwich, and everything was utterly delicious!
