The buyers asked us when the septic tank was last cleaned & we informed them "not during the 3 years we lived there". On 8/13/14, we received a call from our son (living in the house until it closed) informing us that he had returned home from work to find tire tracks everywhere and a "fountain" springing up in the front yard, along with lots of water & mud. A neighbor informed him that this company had come out, cut across the front yard, breaking a pipe in the process, entered the back yard and pumped the septic system. Upon further investigation, we found that the buyers' realtor had authorized the pumping, to take place the following week after the closing. Budget just took it upon themselves to come a week early onto our property (unknown to us), ignore the fact that there was a side entrance to the back yard, cause damage by breaking a pipe, and not call anyone to report it so the water could have been turned off. They subsequently denied liability for the damage, stating "the realtor authorized this". The realtors are fighting it out with them, trying to get them to repair the damage to the yard and pay the utility company's emergency fee. Avoid them and their irresponsible ways.

I called a total of 15 septic service companies and I will tell you I wouldn't hire ANY of them except Sander's Septic! They were timely, they went over and above to work in the inclement conditions for a simple pump and then they added a filter cover and pump cover that we requested. Shaina, the all-around, amazing person/receptionist/office manager/scheduler you get when you call them (Also the wife of the owner I think). Super awesome, even left the pricing phone call with giving me advice on what to look out for when contacting other companies. They were helpful and customer service driven, they are accommodating to whatever you are asking for (even if it's not in their timelines or abilities), they will tell you if you should or shouldn't do whatever you are asking about and then give you pricing up front (flat rates), then knock out whatever work you give them. Our two upstairs bathrooms are back to back, separated by a wall. Both sinks drained slowly and…read morewould also back up into the sink on the other side of the wall. House was built in 1936, so plumbing was done a bit different and it's also really old. Called Zoom Drain, spoke to Richard Manry, and he said he would come out to work on it...he arrived early..which was great. Shouldn't be too difficult, just snake to the drain and all is well....right???? Well...not so simple. Because this is such an old house the two sink drains converged in a "T" fitting in the wall. Richard said this type of "T" fitting is no longer used because when you push a snake through the drain of one sink and into the wall, instead of following a curved wall of a new style "T" fitting and being directed into the common part of the fitting and on out. The old fitting lets the snake go directly across to the other side and out the drain pipe of the opposing sink. So...how to curve and direct the snake to make a 45-degree turn and into the down pipe. The team of Richard and Jimmy had to innovate and they came up with a plan. Using a boroscope type camera inserted in the drain of one sink and looking at the inside of the "T" fitting they were able to direct and coax an auger/snake inserted through the drain pipe from the other bathroom. It took a few tries, they didn't give up, and they cleared the drain. Great effort...skill...imagination and just very nice people. I'm delighted with the service...Richard and Jimmy are the best and will call them again! I hope you will too!
