There is a silent room with two computers and a fireplace. It's too bad there isn't enough space for a dedicated computer room where people can talk. Unfortunately, the library is too small to have areas where patrons can talk on the phone or on a virtual call. I prefer libraries with nooks and crannies for privacy and more private study rooms. Overall, a small but attractive library for reading and studying.

If they didn't have a book, they would request from other local libraries for the book I was looking for. I would come here with mom since I was a kid for her reading needs as well. I was with my mom recently to borrow a bolt cutter of ally random things. I would have never guessed they would let you borrow such tools. There are bigger and nicer libraries in GP, but this one was the closest to our house in HS and my mom just preferred it over the others. I don't go very often anymore, but my mother still frequents it every few weeks for a new read.

I love the interlibrary loan and the writing resources for students. The library website can be the best resource a hard-working student can have. OneSearch also includes scholarly content publishers and view results ranked by relevance. Even though I'm a Warren resident, I'm able to use the Center Line library for all my needs because it's part of the Suburban Library Cooperative. Center Line's holdings are small but diversified. Everything is located in one big room. They have several computers right up front if you need to access the internet. The atmosphere has always been quiet and laid-back when I have gone in. Parking is *much* easier here than at the Warren Civic Center Library, which would otherwise be the closest one for me. As a history major in college, I spent a lot of time in libraries and archives of all sizes across the country. When you're doing academic research, you learn to judge the quality of a library by the helpfulness of the librarians and their ability to acquire books on ILL (inter-library loan). This is where the Center Line library really excels. I've always found the staff to be attentive, and they fully participate in the MEL (Michigan E-Library) program, so you have access to materials from across the state.
