What an amazing relief Lili and Julia were to save us tonight. We called last minute to book deep tissue massages after a 12 hour day of coaching collegiate women's rugby. We opted to add on the therapeutic option which included excellently effective Thai technique, as well as hot stones and aroma therapy. He went with Peppermint, my choice was Wild Orange. All I have to say is that we felt welcomed, comfortable in the lovey space, and were in the right hands to have us restored after an eventful tournament, and prepared to go into the last day of the weekend. Seriously the worst massage of my life! I generally get a Swedish massage with firm pressure, so naturally that's what I requested. The therapist said the Swedish would be very light pressure, which would have been fine, but she didn't apply any pressure at all. She was basically basing me with oil. When I asked her to apply more pressure she said something like, "that's why I told you to get the deep tissue massage". And "you're so tight, that's why it feels like that". I hate places that make you seem like and idiot or that you're being difficult... I did not want a deep tissue massage... I just wanted firm pressure, but I guess that's not how it works here. It was either light butterfly rubs or rough, toss your body around "deep tissue". The towel used to cover me was so greasy and slimy, so was my husband's. I'm convinced they don't wash the towels and sheets in between service. Simply disgusting and we could not relax the entire time. I'm a huge fan of Asian massage establishments, but this place was something else. First, they try to up-sell you. Then they base you like a turkey. Oh my hair also weighs a ton now because of all the oil in it. Never again. read more

It was confirmed and the receptionist said I was good to go and that they will be waiting for us. I received an 11am text confirmation and arrive at 1:50pm. They tell us that our four appointments were cancelled because we didn't answer a call at 8am. What!? Why would they "cancel" yet confirm at 11am?! Horrible communication. I usually go to high end spas but since it was very last minute, I didn't want to go into town, and spend over 75 on just a massage- I decided to seek spas in my area. My first choice would not to go to Pasadena but the recent reviews were decent. Called in for the earliest appointment and it was within an hour. Upon arrival, you will see half of the building with a "For Rent" sign. Their door was kept open and is upstairs. Walked in, filled out usual survey, and let her know that I wanted a facial and deep massage. She suggested I get the luxury package, even though the price was slightly higher than individually (I'm weak, can't say no ever)! $129-- She told me to go in the first room and change. I was able to do so quickly and she came back shortly after without knocking! Which is okay because I was on the bed already but if I was not..eek! She started the massage instantly and even though my head was down, I noticed the door to the room not fully closed. Anyone who walks by can definitely peek or just waltz in. She was good but not the best I've experienced. Everything was fine until a fellow coworker came and needed her assistance. She left without notice and stayed out for a good few minutes. She came back, gave her reasoning, and continued. Time for the facial! It was um ok..- I think 75% of the facial was rubbing my face with a cleanser. 5% extraction (and maybe because I already have clear skin) and 20% of her going in/out the door. Conclusion: It was pretty weird that she kept interrupting the session by leaving but even weirder that the door was kept slightly open 90% of the time. Massage was ok, I probably will not return just because of the overall atmosphere (I like the smell of essential oils smacking you in the face upon entering). Definitely will not for a facial. I used to go to them regularly every month when I worked in the area (this was about 3 years ago) and they were great & fairly priced. I sent my husband there this past weekend & was highly disappointed. I get that because of COVID-19 prices have gone up but at least give me what I pay for. I asked for a deep tissue & felt like a Swedish massage... on top of that she demanded a tip at the end. I'm usually a good customer and depending on the service I will always give anywhere between $5-20 of tip, but I don't like to be pressured to give it especially after a bad massage. read more

I wanted my daughter and her boyfriend to experience a Swedish massage cause it was their first time, so I purchased the 50 minute $45 package. Well the lady tries to talk me into getting them a deeper massage for ofcourse more money, but I told her I wanted The 50 min/$45. So I Drop them off. Well when I return, they said they only did 40 minutes and $45 cause the kids wanted a deeper massage. Well I'm the parent and I'm paying and I thought we were clear on what they were to provide. At Harmony Spa, the detail to the areas I instructed I wanted more pressure applied felt amazing after my session. I was energized the entire week. I booked a body scrub and vichy shower through groupon. I arrived at this location but the lady at the front desk didn't quite know what I was talking about. She called her boss and informed me I was at the wrong location, although this was the one listed on the groupon. The second location, while small, was intimate and nice. You could tell it was new. I REALLY enjoyed my body scrub and the therapist was very pleasant. The headrest on the shower table smelled a little like mildew and she didn't give me a towel to lay on :(. When it came to shower time, there was an issue with starting it. The therapist had to walk in and out of the room 5 or 6 times in an attempt to figure out what the problem was. This really killed my zen vibe. Once she got is started it was fine, luke warm but fine. When it came to showering the front the water was COLD! I tried to stand it as long as I could but it was ice cold. I actually had to get up off the shower table and call the therapist back in. She was apologetic about my experience and offered me 20 minutes in their sauna for free. It was a nice gesture even though I didn't really enjoy the sauna either. It is positioned in the hallway of the spa with a clear glass door, so every time someone walked by it was extremely awkward. The owner offered me a discount on another shower but it ended up being not as good as the discount I got with groupon. Sweet people, not so sweet experience. read more

So I was looking all over Google and Yelp for a last minute massage and facial... This place really surprised me! For how cheap it is, I wasn't expecting such great quality. The facial was unbelievably relaxing and my face feels amazing. Then I opted for a deep tissue massage after moving across 4 states with kids and other stress from life. I needed every knot out! The massage was perfect! I can't wait to go back and try a body scrub. I'll also be doing a couples package with my fiance for our birthdays in April. They even have a rewards program! The massage was okay, I just didn't like that they tell me a different price for the massage over the phone and then once I'm there it's a lil more pricey. The other thing that made me feel weird was that when I was paying; after I signed and gave them back the receipt she was like while looking at the receipt, "what... no tip.." I was like geez , I gave them their tip but in my mind I was like " nope, ain't coming here again". Wanted to leave the place in peace instead of feeling peer pressured. Literally the worst massage I have ever received. I basically had lotion rubbed on me for an hour. There is one lady who gives good massages but the one who gave me one couldn't even find a muscle. I have been here before and received a decent massage but there is one person who has absolutely no idea what she's doing. The diva of deals I was elated to find this hidden jewel in the wide open. Ever skeptical when it comes to services, I took a chance and was not disappointed. Upon arrival, I called since the parking lot was empty, but sure enough even on a late Sunday evening they were open for business. I entered and walked upstairs to a charming little landing where I was immediately greeted by a lady who looked a bit confused but I assumed was a therapist. Nonetheless I told her what I desired and she immediately whisked me into a room that was relaxing, yet questionable. I thought of a review I had read about bedding not being changed or whatever and I became a bit uneasy, but everything appeared copacetic so began to calm. She left me to undress and I moved like a middle schooler in the girls locker room as I thought of another review I had read. The therapist knocked prior to entering so another concern was dispelled. We began the service, and yet another review popped into my head as I thought of the lady who had endured constant interruptions. I witnessed at least three times my therapist stopped to communicate with presumably another therapist about another customer who had come in for service. Though the conversations were short, time is money. I opted for the deep tissue and deep cleaning and boy were they both DEEP. She really got into to those nooks and crannies to get the tension out. My facial was pretty cool, but I have only had one other facial so I don't really have a point of comparison since the other one sucked. My skin feels soft and clear so‍. All in all it was decent experience at a fair price. It was the convenience and cost that earned this facility 4 stars. I've been here twice already and it's been a great experience both times. I was in need a massage because of my back and shoulder were bothering me. Wanted to try a Thai massage or something different as I usually get Deep Massages mostly. Found this wonderful just by searching, both times I went to and got a therapeutic massage and wow did it do wonders for both my back and shoulder. I purchased a gift certificate for my wife to the harmony wellness and spa which was advertised on Groupon as a European facial and Mani/pedi combo. I purchased this last December 19, 2014, the expiration date on this coupon was in 10 months from the original date of purchase which would make it good until October 19 of this year. Now a new owner of the place is saying she's not going to honor this Groupon purchase which is completely illegal and very poor service. On the gift certificate it states the certificate will expire in 10 months from the date of purchase. For this business to refuse to honor this gift certificate was has already been purchased is despicable. Very poor business practice and tells me a lot about the character type of this person who operates this so called establishment. I cannot imagine anyone doing business with such an unethical, immoral and poorly operated. Good luck. If I could no stars I would. Update: owner has issued credit will see in 5 to 7 days if it appears on my statement. Thanks for effort. read more
