Breathing in the pink himalayan salt, helps to ease allergies and breathing. After I had left and headed home, I felt better. I don't go as much as I should, but regular visits will keep you in top shape when it comes to allergies and breathing. The Salt Pad is located on the upper level of the plaza, above Jason's Deli and the Mexican restaurant on the side facing Woodlawn. There is a waiting area available until your appointment time. Then you put your belongings in a locker and head into the room for 50-60 minutes of treatment. The staff is super helpful and explain the process to you if it's your first time. Found out the cost after my insurance paid and it was too much. The guy got me a loan for part and set up a payment plan for the rest. They started my treatment the same day after my loan approval. They ran me through the cycle. No one introduced themselves to me, they just went to work. I had to ask the PTA the her name and the names of the chiropractor and nurse. No one stressed the importance of doing the strength exercises at home. They just gave me the papers. I saw a nurse, chiropractor, and physical therapy assistant (PTA). No Physical Therapist and No medical doctor. Everyone was nice and friendly. At the end, on your last day of treatment they give you a survey. I let them know how I genuinely felt. After the survey the nurse sat me in an exam room to let me know she read my survey. This was uncomfortable. She seemed offended, when she said she hoped she was not a person who did not introduce herself to me before getting to work on me. She was. The chiropractor seemed annoyed and decided not to reposition my legs to the same length. He said, "there even." I immediately thought to myself, "that's a lie." I am not sure why they thought it was a good idea to confront me about my survey. The last time I went to the office to make a payment the whole staff stood in a line as if they were ready to fight. I had no idea why. It was awkward. I paid my bill and left w/o incident. The visit was akward. They missed charging my cc for two months then tried to charge it three times in one day as a result of their mistake. I do feel better than before I went there. So their process is able to relieve pain. However, they need to work on their customer service skills.
