When I told them I had hired Ms. Shaffer to help me represent a client I was told by other lawyers that I had made a great hire; that "she will get you without you knowing you've been got"; and that she is extremely smart. I personally witnessed her depose an opposing party and she got him to admit what we needed him to admit without him even knowing what he admitted. My questions since 2020 when my father passed have yet to have been answered after numerous visits in their office. The will was designed to bypass probate, the assets were to be retained, and the trusts funded. Not one bit of what my father's last wishes has been respected or granted. I feel my Family has been defrauded by this firm, several other attorneys, an accountant and the judge are all involved directly or indirectly. Our company agent, a local lawyer, also breached his obligation. Is any professional in this town honest? I have yet to have found one. The lawyers at this firm do NOT litigate. When I wrote them the check this was not disclosed to me. Due to the corruption surrounding another attorney that literally stole millions from us we needed protection with our assets and needed a lawyer to litigate to recoup the millions lost from his company, which was acquired by a corporate entity. There is something eerily not right when the founding lawyer of this firm tells you "Congress has changed things". It is apparent to me this law firm as well as many others involved in this community have destroyed everything my family worked hard for. Something is not right. Many are involved and many should be in jail. Buyer beware.

Renee the receptionist needs to learn to speak with people she is rude and not clear when she speaks. I understand that lawyers are busy but as consumers are we not supposed to be? What's wrong with setting up an appt and calling us? why is it I have to call the attorney back? Makes no sense. The second time I called her back 20 mins late because again I'm used to people calling me back and also I have a sick child and she stated she didn't want to take my case because I didn't call her back. That's horrible service and if she was busy she should have been stated that from the beginning.
