To make a long short, HDF is the worst financing company we have ever dealt with. We have EXCELLENT credit and always pay our bills. We have always paid on time and more than the amount due, for as long as we have had our loan. There was an issue with our autopay and we did not realize it. We ended up missing a payment. They never sent us a paper statement, only called harassing us multiple times a day. We actually thought it was a scam because we never miss payments. Upon realizing that we missed a payment we paid immediately. Then set up autopay through ACH for future payments. I agree with others, the $3.00 "convenience" fee is ridiculous when you want to pay online. I will never finance with them again. read more

I would actually give NO STARS. Buyer beware, these people are a nightmare to deal with. I paid off my bike in October. They sent the title to the wrong address. It's January19th, after numerous phone calls, and I'm talking hours on the phone, I still don't have my title. Every time I called I got a different person the last one was Alicia (supposedly a higher up, whatever the Hell that means). Told me to get a second title, end of story. So I get to pay another 25$ (I know not big in the.scheme of things) but I never got my original. They had a BS excuse for everything, nothing is their fault. I even asked for an extension number so I could talk to the same person they wouldn't give me one but when you call in it even says if you know the parties extension you may dial it now. I have been with Harley-Davidson for years. 53 and a Vet. I actually financed my last 02 brand new HD bikes with them in 07/2020 (2020 FXBB St. Bob 107) and again in 03/2022 (2022 FLSBS Fatboy 114). Fully financed with them. I made every single payment on time with the HD Financial Services. My credit even improved from a 581 or so in 07/2020 to a 670 or so in 03/2022 because of making on-time payments. Why would they have approved me for another loan in March 2022 if that were not the case. This past 03/2022, when I purchased my new Fatboy, I even added a $1000 worth of equipment into the financing, and also purchased on credit, a $675 HD riding leather jacket (they gave me a discount). My total financing was ridiculous at like $26 or $27K, with $423+ monthly payments on a VERY long loan repayment term!! Rip-off, but that is business with dealerships, and it was the only way I could finance a new Bike at all, by going through a dealer. I had no choice due to my situation and credit and debt-to-income ratio, etc. And also purchased quite a bit of HD gear/equipment for the Bike. SOOO!...one would think they would give me a small break and an extension in 08/2022 when my right eye had retinal detachment, which resulted in 3 consecutive surgeries, and becoming fully blind in the right eye (permanently) by 09/2022...I asked for a payment extension for one month to help me out, because the CA State took over 12 full weeks to send me my very first State disability payment! I had $000 income for over 12 weeks!! I provided HDFS with 19 pages of documents as proof of my medical State disability status (surgery notes, Doctors' notes, FMLA work papers, etc). They had done it for me 2 years ago with my other loan on the St. Bob when I had made on time payments for over 1 year, and had a previous medical condition with a disability. Yet they declined and refused to skip a payment and tag it onto the end of the repayment term in spite of all the payments I had made since 07/2020 and rejected my claim for an extension because it had not been 12 months on the new loan for the Fatboy. I was hurt, maaaaan! The only creditor who refused to help me out! After the faithfulness I have showed HD and what a good repayment history I had with them and all the $$ I have spent so far on them!! Not even an ounce of compassion or understanding. No break. Nothing. Now I am back to work since Nov. I am still past due on my loan, desperately trying to catch up and my credit had been greatly damaged, thanks to them. They seem to care about nothing and no one except money!! And I am not even mentioning the extra interest and fees I have been paying them. I am still trying to catch up. I am so disappointed by them. They are now simply a money-grabbing corporation that cares more about the $$ than their products and their customers! To think that I permanently lost my right eye, and yet I still ride, as allowed by the DMV...yet they have showed no care or understanding. HDFS is simply a greed giant corp. Such a shame. I understand that policy is policy and regs are regs. But really??!!...yet they have no problem calling me literally 3 to 6 times a day to ask me for my late payments! I feel harassed, ugh. What happened to the little guy and Customer retention! Nothing I can do except filing this complaint on several sites, BBB, Google, Yelp, etc. Shame on Harley Davidson Financial Services! Not sure if it is this particular location at Harley Davidson financial services in general is the worst credit agency imaginable. Do not use them for any reason. Look at the reviews on Google reviews and you will see that they are all negative. Not only are the rates very high, not only do they do what they can to damage their own clients credit scores, but they are terrible to work with. Hello just briefly I would like to say the service and run around I received for 3 years I have been disputing the joint owner of a Harley product of any kind. I have sent over several certified letters, police reports and been trying to get my fraud case looked at for a while and I just sent a over night package to 3850 Arrowhead Dr. February 26 it was signed for on the 27th and noted in the system the 28th so I guess I am getting some where but I am seriously running out of patience I have submitted police reports and all documentation that a human could that I have no knowledge of this and to have this charge off remove from me personally. I have been going through this for three years I was told that I needed to contact Lawrence Hund and he could possible help me. They have some rude customer service in Texas I only found one good one Hilary she was helpful and understanding. I have received the run around for a long time and I want peace & help for this to be over with. I have went to every Harley dealership in my city Jacksonville FL and they state to deal with the credit department. This is serious I would like to issue an extra copy of the 46 pages of documentation to whomever so I can get this handled I have attached two police reports and I have several notarized letters in the fraud packet as well. I just get the complete run around with everyone I speak to and I don't want another 3 years to past still dealing with this issue. Matt Levatich, Lawrence Hund & John Olin are all in the management field that can help with this issue and I call all ten number I have been given and never once get to to these people whom seem to be in charge of the department I need help with. I paid my loan in full to Harley Davidson Financial but they never sent me my title after almost 2 months of waiting. I sent a contact request and told them this and they said they sent it out weeks ago so tough luck. I waited a little bit more time and nothing. I finally broke down and called today and this was the response : we have on file that we sent it are you sure you just didn't lose it. I assured them this wasn't the case and that I had received a check for overpaying but no title. I was then told that because they have it on file as being sent out that it must be my fault and the best they could do is send a request of lien on title to be released and that I would have to pay for a lost or replacement title. If I could give negative stars with my experiences with Harley Davidson Financial I would as it has been a lot of issues from the start. read more
