I noticed that the dentist had a superiority complex which most of them do..I made a appointment for what I was told was cleaning and then exam. I showed up and they told me I was not on the schedule even though they called me with a appointment for that date and time, 3 weeks prior. The answer they gave was that the scheduler was out sick, and that people don't show up to their appointments. Well I called back when the scheduler was supposed to be there, they could see me the next day...Well this place was weird because is a tiny hole in the wall in a big building. Dr. Kabra is more interested in providing the most profitable procedures for him, with zero regard to your health, or your concerns. His assistants were rude and disrespectful and tried to force me into having a invasive procedure. For a dentist who has been taking and looking at x-rays for 30 years you would think they would be able to use a computer and open a email. Don't waste your time if they say they can see you, because they don't care about your health and they just want to make money. Maybe they can update their procedures and upgrade their office looked like they still had the same original chairs in waiting room, that they started with. Outdated.

I am not the kind who comes in as often as they should. I KNOW THAT. IMO, that shouldn't entitle you to give me an attitude when I call or come in, but it's been happening for years and will probably keep right on happening. It doesn't matter if you tell them to be nice, this particular one will keep right on acting the same way. I'm not out to get her, but it'd be nice to not get sarcasm or rudeness just because I don't come in when I should or can't make an appointment. Unfortunately she fits in with typical the "**** u" attitude from the younger ppl of the area. If my insurance was more widely accepted I'd go somewhere else just to avoid her.

I developed a pretty intense fear of the dentist that resulted in my complete and utter dentist avoidance for a period of 5 years. When my molars started to give me pain, I knew I wasn't being smart. You can choose to not open your credit card bill, but you keep racking up fees. Cavities, like credit card charges, don't just evaporate because you ignore them. My friend Jen, who had been a dental hygienist for ten years, recommended Cristi Trufas-Freinberg to me. With some trepidation, I scheduled an appointment. I was right, my teeth were a mess. I had 16 cavities, which might has well been a million. Here's the part where I should freak out, but here's why I didn't: - Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable front desk staff. Same lady. Every time. Know what she's doing. - Interesting and gentle hygienists who are really good not just at cleaning, but also serve as "tooth coach," coaxing you into better dental habits. - Cristi just has a mild mannered, sweet way about him. He's soft spoken and kind. Where'd you'd expect heaping mounds of judgement (16 CAVITIES, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!), you just get patience and sensitivity. He really listens to you, and when you tell him you are afraid of the dentist, he reassures you. When he could feel my heart thumping out of my chest, he stopped to ask if I was ok. He told me if I experienced any pain, to raise my left hand, and he would stop. I did, and he actually stopped. When I told him I could feel the drilling, he ordered up more novocain immediately and waited for it to take effect before proceeding. I once had a dentist refuse to give me novocain, telling me it was all in my imagination, that my cavity was shallow, and that I needed to calm down. The way he treated me renewed my faith in dentists. - The drill and fill room is on an enclosed sun porch that faces the woods. It's warm, bright, and comforting. I actually look forward to going there. You shouldn't go there, but if you have to, it will be nice. Bottom line: if you're terrified of the dentist, this is the place for you.

This place sets an example for the rest of the medical industry. If you're tired of corporate…read morebullshit "healthcare," go here. This is a true family practice, run by the doctor and his wife. Dr. DeSantis cares more about the patient outcome and experience than he does about the bottom line. He works for himself, not for a profit-driven corporation that will still try to upsell you when your teeth are falling out and all your credit cards are maxed out. I came here as a last resort after having my mouth ruined at a corporate dentist's office. I had two baby canines, which my former dentist pulled and fitted with temporary bridges...which proceeded to fall off six times in a month (which is great if you want to lose weight, since I couldn't eat properly). I ended up enduring at least two weeks with four tiny peg teeth on each side. Thank god I work remotely. See my review for 1st Advantage Dental for the gory details. Enter East Greenbush Dental. I sent them a (probably) panicked, overdramatic email explaining my dire situation. They agreed to see me last minute even though I was a new patient. Dr. DeSantis checked out my tiny stub teeth and did some 3-D x-rays, and then proceeded to build from thin air a set of temporary bridges that lasted not 3 days, but over two months. Early this week, he put in the permanent bridges and they are perfect. I'm not afraid that my teeth are permanently damaged or that these bridges are going to fall out in 3 weeks. I know that this doctor knows what he's doing and actually cares about the outcome. Dr. DeSantis will explain everything and he takes his time. You won't see the doctor for only 30 seconds (or not at all) like at ordinary practices. He has a varied background that includes some programming and graphic design so if you're lucky, he will be able to whip some teeth out of the ether and into the 3-D printer like he did for me. He's also funny, and has a bit of a Beastie Boy vibe (if you're not an elder Millennial or baby Gen X, that statement won't make any sense, so just don't worry about it). I'll be a patient here until they either fire me or the doctor retires.

My wife went in for a root canal and Dr. Buckley completely failed at the job. He went so far up…read morethe canal that he hit her jaw bone and caused the tooth to be damaged and not be saved. He had my wife go to a specialist and this is where we were told that he messed up her tooth. We called back to speak with the Dentist and he was very defensive and even laughed at us on the phone. What an unprofessional person. He tried to blame my wife for not following through on her end but it was the office staff that took their time to send the needed notes and x-rays to the next dentist so my wife had to wait a month to see someone else. Well how she has just got her 3rd opinion and they all agree that Dentist Buckley caused an issue with messing up the root canal and the tooth has to come out. He does not want to get off his high horse and humble himself to admit that he was wrong and made a mistake. My family or myself will never go to this very unprofessional place again. Ever since they moved into their new building they changed and the old way to taking care of their patients is gone. If I was you I would stay far away from this place. Again we have had 3 opinions from 3 different Dentists to confirm he messed up. It is sad that he just cannot apologize and try to fix the situation. Shows how unprofessional he really is.

Dental implants are the replacement of tooth roots in the mouth. Once placed, the anchors begin to fuse with the bone over the course of a few months. After the fusing process, known as osseointegration, abutment posts are inserted into the anchors to allow for the permanent attachment of the replacement teeth. Teeth in a Day - Teeth in a Day can be an excellent option for patients who are missing several or all of their teeth. By using multiple implants, a strong support can be created to anchor the full arch or bridge prosthesis. For many patients, a custom acrylic full arch can be placed the same day as the implant placement surgery, allowing the patient to leave the office on the day of surgery with a complete arch replacement. After a healing period of at least 3 months, the temporary restoration can be removed and replaced with the final porcelain restoration.
