Things I would recommend as a thrifty Aberdonian. Both around £15 a kg and aged for a minimum of 3 weeks dry!
- Onglet (french cut taken from the skirt)
- Bavette (another french cut from either the skirt or the flank)
These are cheap cuts but what you would find in a fancy french bistro. SOOO good!
