I had a great experience with Harbor Tire in Huntington Beach! My rims had some scrapes and gouges, and instead of spending the money on brand-new rims, I had them powder coated and repaired. They removed the damage, and the rims came out looking brand new! I also had the tires replaced and the wheels balanced and aligned. The quality of the work was excellent, and I saved money compared to buying new rims. Everything turned out great, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Very poor customer service. I wouldn't recommend. I showed up at 4p one hour before closing to swap my rims and they told me all the lifts already had a car and to show up the next morning. Seemed kind of odd since they still had an hour before closing but ok. I show up the next morning and they first tell me that I need to leave my cars for the whole day. Fine. After looking at my cars and seeing that it will require two lifts, which I didn't quite understand since they could have used a jack on one car, they told me to come back tomorrow. So basically in order to get service it would take me TWO days from the day I came in because they didn't want to help. Not sure how they stay in business with these shenanigans. I thought I'd give them a chance since my cars require very wide and expensive tires but I guess they really don't want my business. read more

They provided tire service for our family for almost all 15 years we've lived in the area. Always professional, courteous and friendly. For example was last there to repair a flat with a nail in it. All car bays were full. But they knew my repair would take less than 10 minutes. Instead of making we wait until a bay opened, manager pulled a mechanic off the line who jacked car up and patched on the spot. How cool was that! Then I came back today to have them check a leak on my golf cart tire. They popped tire off, added some tire bead sealant and put tire back on. Took less than 5 minutes. Do not buy a car from this business the owner of the business was selling a truck for his friend made $500 on the deal as soon as I got the truck home check engine light comes on the owner Richard POS has a friend that does smog checks I think they pencil whipped the smog check just to sell the car upon returning the car asking him for help and getting it so we can pass smog owner got very rude . Told me one thing then told my wife something different. I initially contacted Tesla mobile repair first, but they wanted a $45 dispatch fee and then tried to upsell me on a full replacement for $500 before even seeing the car. I went in for my 5,000 mile free tire rotation. I was told that all four of my brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I was cautioned that I only had about a week's worth of brake pads. The charge was $1000. I declined and went to CAL Auto Center on a friend's recommendation. Only the rear pads needed to be replaced. Charge was $300. read more

A light came on in my Subaru last month indicating a possible problem with my tires. I stopped at Harbor Tire and a friendly guy by the name of Dave came over to help me. He checked my tires and found the air pressure to be a bit low so he filled them up. He told me I have plenty of tread remaining so I shouldn't have another problem for quite a while but if I do I should just stop by again. No further dashboard lights or problems with my tires. I own a classic truck and was having some issues with it. Paul the manager and I attend the same church. I have tried several other shops but most of them won't work on classic stuff. Paul said no problem. Bring it down. They gave me a total breakdown of what was going on. What it would cost and a time frame. Blake the mechanic who performed the work was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When I picked up the truck he ran over some things I should be thinking about in the future. Once again I had a dead battery issue the last few days. Different car this time, a 2023 Honda Civic. purchased from a local dealer. Prior visits were for two MB 350s, a Subaru Legacy and a Subaru WRX. Did some research and found many reports that Honda batteries last three years...if you're lucky. My car was purchased in February 2023 so its battery lasted three years and one month. Great, huh? Contacted the dealer and was told a new Honda battery installed would cost $350. I then remembered my prior dealings with Harbour Tire 4 and 6 years ago and stopped by to see what they could do. Not only did they quickly get on the job they had a Delco battery available which comes with a full price one year warranty and 36 months of prorated credits. I was out of there in about an hour. And I saved the best for last, $250 including tax, so I saved a hundred bucks too. read more

What a happy accident that my Mini Cooper died across the street from here! lol. The battery finally fizzled out, and AAA man that jumped me recommended this place -- and I'm so glad he did! Harbour Tire not only was able to get me a great deal on a special snowflake battery that Mini's will only take (typical), they sent a technician to go pick it up, then install it, and send me on my way all in less than an hour. The inside waiting area aesthetic was really neat and super clean and comfortable to chill in. I read through some reviews and it's so bizarre to me that some people found this place unprofessional!?? The guys I encountered were such a joy to work with; knowledgable, patient, kind, down to earth and an all around hoot. Very grateful for this honest business. I brought my car to. Discount tires on Warner Av where I originally purchased my tires 18 months ago. I had a nail in my tire and they told me it was unfixable and too close to the sidewall. Tried to sell me a new tire for $200. Drove down the road and came here. They fixed my tire and had me in and out in about 10 minutes! And only charged me $20!. I am so grateful to find an honest car repair business. I will definitely be back. I bought 3 tires from Harbour Tire about 6 months ago (the 4th one was very new as I had to replace it, punctured it out of town). They were great, drove me home while they replaced the tires, picked me up when they were done. Fast forward to the other day, I get a screw stuck in the only tire I DIDN'T purchase from them. They quickly plugged my tire and when I pulled out my wallet to pay he said "no, it's free since you bought tires from us before" and I said "yes, but not the one that's going flat" and he said it's all good, you're a customer of ours. Unbelievably satisfied with their service. I have a Jeep Wrangler with 37" tires. I called a number of tire stores and none of them could handle 37" tires (their machines are too small). I called and they said no problem, and if I wanted I could come right over. I did they had their own tool to take off the wheel lock even though I have my own. So it took less than 30 minutes to remove the tire from the Jeep, repair and reinstall it. Here was the real surprise, they only charged me $30.00! Again, most shops wanted to sell me a brand new tire. Harbour Tire is very clean Tire store, the shop clean, the office and customer is clean and very nice. Came in to get a shock adjustment and left with negligent damage done and was disrespectfully talked to, yelled at, and laughed at by the mechanic. Paul is the only person here besides the owner with some type of respect. I got the entire altercation on recording of me being told the damage was normal and that I should've brought my own tool but was never once told that from the start. This place is awesome. I went in for an alignment and wheel balance on my daughter's 1998 Toyota 4 runner. They noticed the front brakes were getting low and notified me, but weren't pushing to sell me anything. Reasonably priced, close to home, they open at 7:30 and took care of me quick!
