She is kind and compassionate and seems more than qualified in helping us as a couple. I have recommended Karen to others who have benefited from her expertise.

Take the time to find one, if your level of problems goes beyond minor bickering or indifference. I did not do the proper research when I chose her back in summer 2013. My husband (whom I was with for 21 years at the time) and I were going through problems and she counseled us together the first few appts. During those appts, she blamed me for everything because I was frustrated & at the point where I lost all patience with him and my bad attitude got the best of me. She had me leaving her office in tears every time. She suggested seeing us separately for a while, in that time I felt like she was making a difference in my life and I felt like she understood & sympathized with me. However when my husband & I were in session with her, she always took his side. She also had no regard for the fact that we have a young child. It just was not a significant factor to her. She never took the side of our marriage or our child. She also found reasons to justify my husbands need for drinking and taking a bunch of different Rx meds which was a huge concern of mine. Fast forward to present day..my husband still sees her for individual therapy because she patronizes him and he basically can do no wrong. Will not disclose too much of the crisis we are in now, but over the past 2 years my marriage went from bad to worse. In recent weeks devastating news has come to light..and no surprise to me, Karen knew a very dirty secret my husband has been hiding, which he confided in her during his private sessions with her. Therefore I feel both of them basically "took me for a ride". I was the one seeking help. I was fooled into thinking I was trying to save my marriage at the time. It was a total waste & the biggest mistake of my life. A word to the wise...Don't let what happened to me, happen to you! Had I sought out somebody better qualified, I may not be in the fight of my life right now.
