It is also worth noting that the receptionist, Emily, was incredibly friendly and was able to answer all of my questions that came up. I suffer from a lot of neck, shoulder and lower back pain on my right side because of my job so I need massages on a regular basis. When I moved to Charleston, I found Mike through Groupon. I bought a bunch of Groupons hoping to find the right masseuse for me and I was lucky to find one so quickly. I require deep tissue massages with a lot of pressure and Mike is one of two people who can do it. He helped loosen my knots out and brought feeling back to my arm again. There were times where I would have pain in my arm just from moving the mouse on my computer. When this happened, he would fit me in as soon as he could. He is so helpful and accommodating. MIke genuinely cares about his patients. He is always giving me advice and showing me stretching techniques to prevent the pain. When I started having the numbness and pain in my arm, he suggested I see Dr. Murray. I am glad I listened to him. Dr. Murray was the first chiropractor I went to. He was very knowledgable and helpful. He asked me what my problems were, looked at my posture, showed me my hips were rotated, explained to me everything else that was wrong and then explained the adjustments. He adjusted me manually and I felt like a whole new person after a massage and adjustment. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences in my life because my body immediately felt better, I was loose, I could actually move more freely. I was comfortable in my body. That night was the best sleep I've ever had in my life. It was amazing. I continued to see them until I had to move. It's interesting to think that these two people have had a huge impact on my health and life style. I am truly grateful that I was able to get their help. Dr. Murray also offers a military discount because he is aware that Tricare doesn't cover chiropractic visits/adjustments, $25 per adjustment.

I drive by the yellow and blue sign in the Subway strip mall everyday, twice a day and for a year, I kept nagging my husband to make an appointment. 2 weeks ago he finally made the appointment! My husband was complaining of back, hips, pelvic, and shoulder pains so severe that he nauseous daily. I purchased gadgets, pillows, creams, oils, lotions, etc. I knew he was in pain but I was unaware of his degree of pain. He finally made an appointment with Dr. Bishop. Within a day, he had an appointment. The office was easy to find off Rt. 78 across the street from a Wendy's restaurant and next door to a Subway Restaurant. There was plenty of parking in an enclosed private lot. Very Convenient and easily accessible by Rt. 52, Rt. 78, I-26, Ladson Rd, Rivers Ave. My husband had a few sessions with Dr. Bishop before I went in to meet with him. I could see the difference in my husband. He wasn't gasping for air so much, he wasn't as hunched over, he wasn't as nauseous and he actually looked relaxed for the 1st time in 3yrs. Dr. Bishop's empathy and his ability to communicate to me his findings, his processes, and his plan to help my husband deepened my desire for him to become our doctor. Dr. Bishop treated me as if he was walking in my shoes. I've never been to a chiropractor or seen a session in person but I am a YOUTUBE avid watcher of Psychetruth Videos and indian barber neck crack compilation videos. I was shown my husband's back & neck X-rays ( I nearly cried) , Dr. Bishop explained each "injury" and his plan of targeting each area from the bottom to the top. Dr. Bishop showed me how his Spinal manipulation, also called spinal manipulative therapy or manual therapy, combining moving and jolting joints, massage, exercise, and physical therapy will be used to help us. It's designed to relieve pressure on joints, reduce inflammation, and improve nerve function. Finally, I was shown special stools and tables used to achieve the maximum benefits of his work. I am both happy and relieved to have this 3rd member to our Marriage. Dr. Bishop will work with you financially and accepts major credit cards. His Medical Assistant/ Receptionist Katherine is attentive, bubbly, knowledgeable and very sweet. She has been with him for 10yrs and can help you with any questions that you may have in regards to scheduling, your records, your payments, etc. They make an Outstanding team! I highly recommend Dr. Bishop's practice for all of your chiropractic needs.
