To give some perspective, our first child has also been to Kinder care , and Bright horizons. When we switched from Bright Horizons , which is Excellent ($$$), we were unsure if the quality of education and care would be the same. I am pleased to announce, Cascade has exceeded our expectations. So much so that we're bringing out second child to learn and grow here. We are fortunate and enriched because of Cascade. Really pleased, and I know several of the other parents who take their kids here are pleased as well.

They were very nonchalant and not able to see why notifying the parent immediately is important. Very dissapointed by their negligence and nonchalant attitude. The teacher was Claudia in the toddler room. Don't take your kids here. I also heard teachers in the background yelling at kids. Told a child "if you pee yourself that's your problem" sickening. In my child's previous schools, there was ALWAYS an open door and parents had an invite to come in and lead an activity or read a book basically whenever they wanted. You get one night every couple of months where only one parent allowed to come in after hours and see the classroom and learn about what your child is working on. Second red flag: Whenever I would come to pick up my child, the (very young) teachers were huddled together talking and planning their weekends together, periodically stopping to yell at the children from across the room or play ground, and then back to talking about the sushi they were gonna eat. Third red flag: It appears that they only hire very young people. When you pay a large monthly tuition, you expect teachers with some sort of experience of formal education. Only the head teachers are trained in Montessori and the assistant teachers are not. Fourth red flag: they charge out the butt for tuition yet teachers are not paid competitive wages. They are constantly cycling through different teachers, assuming because they aren't paying well enough. It seemed like every week I saw a new teacher there. Lastly, from talking with other parents, they had a 4 year old who was going rampant with biting. Their child was coming home with bites every single day. Many students who left Life Christian felt under prepared at other schools because of the gap in education. Math and science programs are purposely under funded. The nepotism, rampant misogyny and over sexualization of young women, and unhealthy power dynamics should send any parent running from this institution.
