I have been coming here since I was a little girl (at least 20-25 years). The business is family run and the staff is always so nice. The course doesn't have any crazy frills, but is always clean and maintained well. We love being able to walk there for golf or ice cream without worry about parking or paying for parking in downtown wildwood. Parking is free and they have a large lot, though sometimes it fills up. If this is the case there are a ton of spots on the street. We love their ice cream! Nothing fancy, but great classic simple flavors and soft serve. Prices that don't break the bank. Sometimes the are can get buggy since it's on the bay, so bring bug spray. They usually also have bug spray available for use. read more

Best ice cream in Diamond Beach. Rich creamy and delicious. Consistently great. Waffle cones, sundaes, milk shakes, hard and soft ice cream and ices. Have a cone and play some mini golf. Had lots of laughs here over the years. They do have a parking lot. read more

We really enjoyed our game of mini golf! We went pre-season (mid May) and the course was clean and the greens looked brand new! It was in excellent condition! Pretty landscaping with waterfalls, bridges and stones, and fun holes that are challenging but not impossible. One of the best mini golf courses we have played. I recommend! read more

We definitely will be coming back!! The owner and staff are very friendly and over all made our experience very pleasant. The ice cream is very good for what seems to be homemade and it's not too expensive either. The mini golf is a good course, plenty of holes that aren't to hard but still challenge you. While the crowd depends on what time you go, I wouldn't recommend going later that 9:30 pm if your going with younger kids, it tends to get overcrowded at points with teenagers and other groups. So your stuck waiting for a good 5 minutes depending. read more

Spur of the moment family activity on a Thursday night in mid July. We picked Harbor Light strictly because we thought it wouldn't be as busy as the mini golf courses in Wildwood. Arrived about 8:45. The gentleman at the window was extremely friendly and warned us the bugs might be biting and to spray ourselves with the provided Off . He rang us up and away we went. We only had to weight for one group to tee off. The course was great and challenging for a non-golfer like me. Be careful on the first couple of holes or you will have to fish your ball out of the water. Took us about hour and a half to complete the 18 holes. After we had the ice cream on the back of the "clubhouse". After getting our treat we sat at a table in the small, tidy deck area. This soft serve was some of the best I've had. It was worth the whopping I got on the golf course. I highly recommend Harbor Light for family fun. It's so much better than the others closer into town! read more

Lou and the crew of HLG are ensconced in a faux lighthouse near the edge of Wildwood Crest -- and what they run is first rate. This is an old school (as in Minnesota Nice) family oriented mini-golf, ice cream and bike rental joint -- far enough away from the hurly burly of the boardwalk and the usual Jersey Shore amusements so you can relax a bit and not have to elbow your way around and through throngs of humanity. Conveniently located across the highway from the Cape May Wildlife Sanctuary -- which boasts miles of scenic bike and walking paths -- this is a great place to rent a cruiser bike (or even a 4 passenger surrey) to while away a few hours -- or a few days. We spent the week in a condo across the street -- which probably accounts for some of my partiality for the convenience and serenity of this place -- but I think the mini-golf is a cut above Duffers -- the ice cream is comparable and in any event -- tastes better to me because the experience of buying some is far less frenetic. But like everything else in Wildwood in season -- expect some longer waits during dinner and after dinner hours - especially on weekends. read more

We found this gem during a morning bike ride. The owner (or the person we talked to) was super sweet, and answered all of our tourist questions. He did not try to sell us on anything, not even the mini-golf. Later that night, we picked HLG, and when we got there it was very busy. We thought because it's off the beaten path, that it'd be less crowed, especially on a week night the last week in August. It's popular for a reason. The grounds are lovely, and it's a real putter's course - no silly alligators coming out to eat your ball or closing your eyes, and hoping for the best. It takes a little skill. Last night the mosquitos were out in full force. My husband has had moderate allergic reactions recently to bites, this year, and it's not fun for him. By the time we got to the 5-6th hole, we decided to call it quits. We returned out clubs and balls and said thank you to the owner, and told him to have a good night. He so very sweetly offered us a rain check. He didn't even know that my husband had that reaction - he was just a really nice guy. My husband loves golf and was quite impressed by the course, and we had planned to come back - without the raincheck. We had no expectation of any type of refund/raincheck when we chose to leave voluntarily. His kindness made our night, and husband felt less upset about the fact of having to leave. I'm still smiling. If youre still looking at reviews to find a mini-golf course, stop looking, you've found your place : ) It's clean, and very well-maintained; challenging for those who want a challenge and easy enough for kids; there is ice cream and reasonably priced bike-rentals. This is definitely our pick for mini golf while in Wildwood. The prices are perfect and we really like the course. It's not boring and it is challenging on some holes. My boyfriend and I were there during the day on a Wednesday and it wasn't that busy. We were behind two 5-person parties but no one was behind us at all until we were almost done. It took up a good amount of time to get through the course and we had so much fun. I really like the Lighthouse theme. Overall, we had a great time at this mini golf place! read more

I took my wife and 3 kids here because it's off the beaten path and overlooks the bay(which made for a great view of the sunset). The course is very well maintained and the staff couldn't be more helpful. There were no crowds like you get on those other tourist trap courses and we didn't feel rushed because there was no one behind us waiting. Reasonable price for bike rental. Rented bikes on the spur of the moment. Bikes were in decent shape for an afternoon of cruising around the Crest and Wildwood. Service was prompt and friendly. Solid course, though I do see how easily it could get backed up during the summer hours. My favorite part about the course was that there are no gimmicks where you have to putt through a lighthouse or some other random object. I understand why people like that but I appreciate a course that takes at least a bit of skill and this isn't a "close your eyes and hope for the best" kind of course. read more

The course was decent and the staff we encountered were friendly. Besides that, this was possibly one of the worst mini golf experiences I've ever had. The entire time we were there we were bombarded with bugs. At one point I looked down at my leg and saw at least 9 bugs. We endured it until the 7th hole and left. Looking at the reviews I suppose we went on a less busy night. My boyfriend and I went to this course on a sunday evening during memorial day weekend and it wasnt crazy busy. The family who got there before us did let us start our game ahead of time because they were a larger party so it was a perfect flow for us. The course has a good transition and amount of difficulty.
