Contacted my home warranty company American Home Shield (AHS) and had the leak diagnosed and stopped. I needed mold mitigation services. Based on posted Yelp reviews and a referral, I contacted Eric F. at A and E Restoration to begin the repair work. Eric arrived early for the appointment, diagnosed the work needed, removed the water heater, set up a new heater in a temporary space in the garage, and notified I need mold mitigation services before installing a new water heater to current code. He set up large fans to dry the moisture and worked with my homeowners insurance company to do the drywall and paint repairs needed on the adjoining bedroom and garage walls, replaced a damaged garage cabinet, and through a referral company, restored the garage floors beautifully in epoxy . These services were completed then Eric successfully installed a new water heater to code on a metal platform. He also told us that an extra tank needed to be added to our relatively new water heater. And he would not replace our shower fixture until he "corrected" the above alleged problems. When he tried to remove the cartridge of the fixture, or the valve stem, he claimed the stem was stuck to the valve body. Therefore, he would have to cut a bigger hole in our shower wall to reach the valve body. My husband and I politely dismissed him. He then replaced our shower fixture UPSIDE DOWN! We later asked our maintenance man about the pressure regulator. He said the water pressure was fine. There was nothing wrong with the regulator. We ended up using Daddario Plumbing-Matt Daddario- who not only replaced the shower fixture but also snaked our badly clogged kitchen sink for $189.00. Eduardo and Delphino got me up and running, and when I'm ready to have the repairs made to prevent this from happening again, I will be calling these guys at AES Plumbing. I had my bathroom "upgraded" a few years back and chose a double sink vanity (old one was a single sink) and the people that handled it put me in the worst possible situation with the plumbing because when one sink is clogged, both are clogged because one runs directly into the other.
