Absolutely the rudest, and uncaring staff you'll ever meet in a home improvement store. They lied…read moreto me about their return policy and the staff while also un knowledgeable about the products they sell are extremely rude, raise their voices at you & and simply do not care about their customers. I'll never spend another penny with Lowe's again. I recommend Menards & Home Depot. Save yourself a lot of grief and avoid Lowe's at all costs.

We showed the…read morestaff in appliances how little space we had to work with as far as delivery and installation and asked what we needed to do about that. They said it would be fine and that their delivery people had lots of experience dealing with situations like ours. We scheduled for delivery on a Saturday. Saturday comes around and the delivery people show up. They tell us that they can't install our washing machine because the valves on the wall behind the machine are too corroded. They also tell us that we need to clear a path next time they come. It would have been nice to know that they needed a path and that corroded valves were something we needed to consider. So we reschedule for the NEXT Saturday and get a plumber to replace our valves. Another Saturday comes around...and the delivery and installation people are nowhere to be seen! We call our local Lowe's which connects us to their distribution people in Kansas City. We get no answer. We call Lowe's again. They do some digging. Supposedly the reason we didn't get our order shipped is that the delivery and installation people had sent us confirmation phone calls (they never bothered with such the previous time they showed up) and confirmation text messages. We never received any such phone calls or text messages though. Not only this but the delivery people canceled our order completely and sent a refund to our bank account! But the manager assures me that if I re-order by 4 PM, they can get the washer to me on Sunday. He also tells me that Lowe's has just started using a new third-party delivery company and that they're having a bit of a "learning curve" to deal with as far as interacting with this new distribution and installation group. I re-order and wait for the confirmation phone call from the distribution company. I get a call but it's an automated notification and not a confirmation. So I call this incompetent distribution company back and tell them to put me in their system as having confirmed the delivery. They tell me to call back later and get a delivery time window which they didn't have yet. I call back a couple of times and they eventually give me a delivery window of 11 AM-3 PM on the next day. During these conversations with Lowe's and their delivery partners, I told them I didn't want any more surprises So Sunday rolls around and we're wondering where our washer is as it's within the delivery window but still later than the previous time they actually showed up. We call the distribution center again. Well...SURPRISE!!! The woman at the call center tells us...I'm not kidding...they never loaded it on the truck! And she can't even tell me why! ANOTHER call to Moberly Lowe's takes place. They say that they'll do some digging and say that they'll call back. I eventually have to call them back myself. I finally find out why our order wasn't loaded: there was an "inventory discrepancy" and they don't have it! So basically...THEIR DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS MANAGED TO LOSE A WASHING MACHINE!!! Those things aren't small. I'm betting there's some corruption going on with this distribution company that Lowe's corporate office seemingly pulled out of a hat. Either that or this distribution company is just full of idiots. But the local Lowe's associate tells me that they're sorry and could set us up with the same model in the next larger size. Yes, you heard correctly...they used the incompetence of their new distribution partners as a springboard to try and upsell me a more expensive machine. I tell them to just cancel my order and issue a refund. We don't want a bigger model. We want the one we originally picked. To sum up: *As of this writing, Lowe's has partnered with a new delivery company that can't get their heads out of their asses, presumably to save money. *Because Lowe's corporate office has partnered with these lamebrains, one has to act as a go-between Lowe's and this distribution dog and pony act, and you STILL can't get what you ordered on time, if at all. * But Lowe's will try to use the misfortune their corporate office and their distribution partners caused as an attempt to upsell you something more expensive. Anyway, this review is done. This is the first time I've ever tried to buy an appliance from Lowe's and they completely fumbled the ball. Hopefully, the other companies we go shopping at for a new washer will pick the ball up and run for the endzone. I'm never buying a big ticket item from this company again. They'll be lucky if I even buy a screwdriver from them.
