Amazing coaches and great environment to train both at amateurs and pro level. I highly recommend their striking program.

My kids have grown in so many ways by being a part of this gym and the life lessons and skills they learn on and off the mat here will forever be a part of them. The kids program is hands down the best in the city. We have been a part of two other gyms before and there is no comparison to community, care and students here at 10th planet. Coach Morgan and his team of coaches run a world class kids program that is not only technical but fun. The mix of drills, skills training and sparring with a mix of games in between keeps the kids engaged and happy. The community of parents and kids is solid gold. The caliber of kids that come here bring a sense of skill, passion, and it's like a small family. The engagement from the adults who train here as well as the owners and coaches creates such a family atmosphere. The head coach of the kids program Coach Morgan brings such a high level of jujitsu but most of all really cares for the students and families as if they were his own. The level of patience and care from the coaching team is unmatched. They have Ninja nights where they run games, mini competition brackets, movies, pizza and more games is an absolute blast for the kids but also provides parents a night off. It builds comradery among the kids and allows them to play with each other outside of the gym setting. The gym, the staff, the quality of training and the members make this a truly special place.

Head coach Ighor is an absolute gem to the sport. He is owner and operator and has many years under his belt and know him through my academy up in Portland. I've never heard bad things about him or his JiuJitsu. He has mounds of experience and more time and years on the mat than most people in this area. The kids program is absolutely already kicking off and is the place to be if you want to enrich your kids value in the sport . Now there's also plenty of room for hobbies and people looking to just have fun and if that turns into something more, this is a place you'll wanna be. Unfortunately, I am about 45 minutes from it so I'm only able to visit on occasion to come to an open Mat and roll around with some new people. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Everything is absolutely clean and meticulously taken care of. If you know anything about Jiujitsu or wrestling, you'll know that cleanliness is almost tied with expertise and knowledge in criteria when looking for a spot. It might be a new name, but it's not a new person and if you look into him, you'll see that his associations are with many well-known associations and branching out into something new to bring new blood and new life to a very traditional sport. I wish I had more photos to post but sometimes when you're getting choked out or dropping someone into a sick back take, you don't have time for photos. Check out their online handles and see what they're up to stop in and try a class, men women children everyone's welcome here. And as a man is late 30s that recently started the sport. I will tell you once you dig in it's absolutely worth the time.

This is a fantastic training environment, where standards are uncompromisingly high, but students of all levels are met where they are and helped along, with nobody ignored or excluded. The vibe couldn't be less toxic. I'm an older, injury-prone guy, and I feel lucky to experience legit, high-intensity rolls in a setting where I trust my training partners to be safe, because that is part of the culture here. Oh, and my son loved Hannah's and Eddie's superb kids' program, which is no babysitting service, but delivers authentic skills instruction in a fun, supportive environment. Finally, for those looking around at schools, I'd advise looking for a few green flags- rates transparently posted on website, pressure-free trial classes, no sketchy contracts, no requirement to purchase branded uniforms, no bs. Honestly, I love jiu jitsu but it's not for everyone, and I wouldn't advise anyone let themselves get talked into a big financial commitment before getting the chance to try it out a bit.
