Teachers are fine patient but high turnover rate low pay large work loads etc. But an issue the school has is mean girl behavior, bullying not being stopped and kids who defend themselves getting in trouble. My daughter receives services at the school which helped. Im a single mom so its a lot with dogs anxieties ptsd so sometimes my daughter miss days at school. She was at a total 33 missed my sisters kindly helped out then she missed another 1 day and cps was called and now that got me upset as a Black mother with stress anxieties that they went there knowing they were in contact with my sisters. On top pf the sub par education, school food, bullying of my daughter and other students and no diverse teachers all white or non Black dont send your kids here. The principal is nasty and everyone i meet says she has bad vibes. Calling cps was their 1st mistake because now ill make their lives a living hell. But the staff at Radcliff Ave are absolutely wonderful. Communication is transparent both in person and via the Brightwheel app. The comfort of updates throughout the day includes pictures, videos and messaging with staff. It is clear the kids participate in activities everyday and that the monthly curriculum updates are adhered to. Balanced meals are offered, naptime is consistent, health policy is clear and followed, and the staff's dedication to the safety and happiness of the kids is evident. We couldn't be happier with our decision.
