Even though I was aware Advanced Veterinary Care was closed, their voicemail left a number to call in the event of an emergency. I would not have called the situation with my Lab emergent, but I felt it urgent. I expected when calling the alternate ph. number to hear a recording referring me to another Vet or Vet Hospital. I was VERY pleasantly surprised when Dr. Myers answered the call & within 30 minutes she very kindly met me at a convenient location, examined my dog, felt confident of a back related injury & gave her an injection to quickly provide comfort. In addition, Dr. Myers provided additional medication to keep my 'girl' comfortable through the night until Advanced Veterinary Care opened for business on Monday, at which time I & my Lab will acquire additional care. This kind of commitment to clients is exceptional! I've had dogs & horse all my life & lots of exposure to Veterinary care. I have never experienced this type of support... I am so VERY grateful to Dr. Myers!
