My little westie always comes out of here looking fantastic! The groomers here listen to the client and treat the animals wonderfully. The place is always clean and the staff are always friendly. It's always super easy to book appointments with them. A definite recommend if you're in need of a great dog groomer!

    Fantastic cut

Super nice groomers. I love that they let the dogs run around while they are waiting instead of in a cage. My dogs always come out cute, smelling fresh and tired from playing. They can normally fit you in within a few days which is great when you always seem to call at the last minute. Two paws up!

At peace and carefree after a GREAT grooming at Happy Tails.

Took our 4-month-old, 6lb Cavapoo puppy to Comfy Pet Grooming in Millsboro today for her first…read morehaircut -- a simple puppy cut. Emily, our groomer, was friendly, and we specifically discussed wanting only minimal trimming to help our puppy get used to the grooming process. Emily agreed, explaining that puppy cuts are typically light and focus on the face, feet, and sanitary areas. At pickup about 1.5 hours later, I heard a dog yelping before I even opened the door. When I walked in, I was horrified to see our puppy cornered against a wall on a grooming table, yelping repeatedly in distress. An older woman was holding large metal scissors near her face. Before she even realized I was there, she grabbed my puppy's face, shook her head, and yelled at her to "hold still," saying she was going to cut her eyes if she didn't stop. Our puppy was not secured with a collar, leash, or harness. She was clearly terrified. I immediately asked for my dog and said, "Please stop -- I will take her unfinished. This is too much." Only then did they turn toward me, and I got a full view of her haircut. They had cut her far shorter than we discussed, unevenly, and all over -- completely against what we requested. Even after I spoke up, the woman moved back toward her again with the scissors, which felt dangerous and inappropriate. Another employee stepped in front of me, blocking my view, while my puppy continued yelping. I was in shock. I understand that grooming a young puppy can be challenging. Puppies are wiggly. That is exactly why the appointment was supposed to be gentle, minimal, and focused on positive exposure -- not fear, aggression, or restraint by force. At no point is it acceptable to shake a frightened puppy by the face or yell at her. If they felt they couldn't handle grooming a 4-month-old puppy with patience, they should have called me to pick her up. This experience was deeply upsetting, and I am heartbroken over how our puppy was treated. I would not recommend Comfy Pet Grooming to anyone, especially those bringing a puppy for their first grooming.

Very disappointed with Lady's grooming this time! We couldn't even recognize who she was!…read moreWe asked for a teddy bear cut and she was returned looking like she was skinned. We are requesting that Sam who stated he was the new groomer manager NEVER groom her again. If groomer cannot fulfill the request at drop off, then a call should be made to allow owners determine if services should be continued. We have been coming for over a year, and this is the first time we encountered such poor service. Greatly disappointed and will post photos.

‼FUR BABY's HAS REVIEWS TURNED OFF ON THEIR PAGE, SO I DECIDED TO SHARE MY REVIEW HERE…read more Let me start by saying that we had used Fur Baby's services, on and off, for over two years. I was searching for a place for my french bulldog puppy to stay and socialize when he was younger and I was working long hours. He had several successful stays with them and even boarded with them before. In January, I had to go out of town for several days, and needed a place for my baby to stay. He is now a two year old, well adjusted pup, who has stayed and played in more than one playcare situation without issues. I dropped him off on a Thursday, healthy and happy. I got the call no pet owner wants to get on Friday morning... I could hear my dog in distress in the background as the staff member was trying to explain that he was "suddenly" in respiratory distress. He had been playing and "all of a sudden" seemed like he was struggling. I was in a panic, states away, as she was asking me what I would like her to do. It was tough to decide, only hearing and not seeing, the level of his condition by phone. She was about to offer him water, which is NOT something you should do when an frenchie is overheated and in distress. I asked her to keep him in a quiet space for a little bit and see if he was able to recover. She said she would call me back in about 30 minutes to see if he had improved. The next phone call I got was from an emergency vet, about 15 minutes later. Boulder was brought in (by the Fur Baby staff, without my knowledge), almost lifeless. According to the veterinary staff he was barely breathing and was turning blue. They called to get permission to intubate him in order to try to save his life. Over the next few hours I played phone tag with the vet as they told me the only thing that would save him was luck and prayers. Fortunately for us, the vet was top notch, and he was able to recover and eventually breathe on his own. We almost lost our happy, healthy 2 year old puppy....and we still don't know why. I know that my dog can overheat and struggle when he plays EXCESSIVELY for extended periods of time in very hot weather. He would have had to have been in distress and gone unnoticed for a considerable amount of time to end up in the condition he did. The women on the phone from Fur Baby's admitted that they know there were notes in his file that alerted staff to pay close attention, that he needed to limit his play time and level of play...but still, he ended up in distress. Although they refunded the remainder of the days he didn't stay (upon MY request), there was no other follow up to check on the welfare of my dog, no explanation or apology for what happened, and a very large vet bill to pay. Check the google reviews...other pet owners were not as fortunate and lost their dogs in similar unexplained incidents. I understand that issues arise, things happen, but please think carefully about putting your dog in a large "playcare" situation while you are away! Especially dogs that require expert care!
