Didn't even want to give them 1 star but had to. Banking here is like playing poker with someone who has the deck stacked in their favor. This bank has robbed me of thousands of dollars in phony BS charges. They charge you an overdraft fee of the same amount whether they pay it or not. Then say they reserve the right to choose what they do and don't want to cover. Funny how no matter what they win. I've turned overdraft protection off and they charge me NSF fees for telling someone I didn't have enough in my account. So I turned overdraft protection on and they still don't cover the charge and charge me the same $35 fee but call it an overdraft fee. I've been to the bank in person twice just to be treated like a peasant for trying to get my money I work for. I'm sure what they're doing is criminal or in the grey area to say the least. If you hate your money and want unprofessional a$$holes stealing it all from you this is your bank! read more

Worst bank ever! As soon as I can figure out my bills that come through and switch them over to another bank, I'm OUT! DO NOT bank here! Used to be great! Sold out to Centennial and I challenge anyone to find worst! read more

I have banked with Happy State Bank, for over ten years, I applied for a personal loan and was turned down, no reason given. My credit score is 750, ever since they merged with Centennial Bank, the bank has went down hill. read more

My account was set up for auto draft every 16th of the month, but I canceled my account on the 9th. Automatically I should be receiving a refund check from them because I did not complete my month. This is when it gets really bad, they still auto drafted my account on the 16th which caused my bank account to go seriously low. I called because now I should be receiving two refund checks from them for close to $300, but they are saying that I'm only getting about $180 back! HOW THE HELL IS THAT RIGHT???????????????? All they want is your money and not give any back to you because they don't care. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!! Switched to Progressive and glad I did!
