Will definitely be back on a return trip. It's a pricier dinner for the area but in my opinion, well worth it. I had the venison and everyone at the table agreed that they wished they had ordered it.

All dishes that I tasted were non-pretentious, perfectly seasoned and warmed both my body and my soul. The atmosphere is rustic and intimate and the service is good. That said, my rating is based on the taste of their food and detailed review follows. Beef Tartare - it was an appetizer special and although I am a big fan of that particular dish, I have to say that this was the only dish that I had that night, that didn't do it for me. Instead of being hand cut (the way I like it), the meat was ground (which is a typical way beef tartare is prepared in Austria), so I will skip providing my rating for this dish. Top Blade Steak braised in red wine, served with polenta, fennel and roasted onions. 5 stars all the way! Melt in your mouth tender, beefy, juicy and combined with creamy polenta it was a star of the evening. Wiener Schnitzel made with pork meat. 4 stars. A solid version of Wiener Schnitzel and although it tasted very good, you can find a lot better versions of this dish in Sankt Anton. Austrian Ravioli stuffed with Porcini Mushrooms and cheese - 4.5 stars. Cooked to a nice al-dente and covered in warm brown butter. The stuffing was savory and thick and you could taste the porcini inside. Although a little more expensive than other restaurants in town, I recommend this restaurant for a nice romantic dinner in St. Anton.

As an American used to variety of cuisines, and adaptations to them I often find the food in Germany and Austria regions very typical. We tried this restaurant and had excellent food, preparation was excellent, it came with actual vegetables, and the service was very fast. We had the spaghetti and the meat skewer, both excellent and he green salad had very good dressing! It was our first time but will be back to try more of the menu!

Prices are reasonable. 5 stars for interiors. 3 for the food. First time I had the pan fried zander filet with boiled potatoes smothered in butter and herbs. it all seemed fresh and well cooked, but really greasy. The lettuce was a bit gritty. My friend had the rösti with bacon and mushrooms. Again very greasy, but tasty. The portion was quite small. Drinks were expensive, 5 euros for a johannisbeersaft gespritzt. Second time, I tried the kaiserschmarren and my friend had pizza. Kaisershmarren was burnt (charred black on one side) and doughy in the middle. Pizza was good but quite small. Don't think we ll be running back here.

Came here on a Monday at 8pm. We were able to get a table for 4 of us…read more The prices here are a bit lower than the rest of the restaurants in the area. Ambiance (5 stars): It has a very homey feeling to it. Especially with the rules that you share tables if you do not have a big enough party and no reservations. Food (4 stars): - Mixed meat (4.5 stars): would recommend. - Salads (3.5 stars): We got the mozzarella salad and a large mixed salad, both were good but came with too much sauce/creamy. - Goulash Soup: (4 stars) comes with bread, it was very hearty. - Traditional roasted pork, tyrolean bread dumplings with bacon sauerkraut, gravy. (4 stars) It was tasty, but nothing outstanding. - Apple Strudel with custard sauce: (4 stars). It was pretty tasty, but a pretty small portion, nothing outstanding. - Ice cream (5 stars): With the umbrella very good. For 4 of us the bill came to 106 euros. Service: (4 stars) The waiter at the start was trying not to speak english, but after a while he warmed up to us, and was friendly. A few interesting things about the restaurant: - you share tables, most of the tables seat about 10 people. - They do not do reservations, first come first serves - 30Euros minimum if you use visa I would come here again.
