I grabbed 2 bottles of buffalo trace and she shouted at me that I could only get one. I immediately said "sorry, I didn't realize" and went and put the bottle back up without hesitation. She continued to shout at me that there was a sign (there wasn't any clear signage of this, it was on extremely small text on the tag next to the sku!). I said there wasn't and she pointed to the small text, to which I said "nobody is reading that" and continued to purchase my bottle with the other (much nicer) employee at the cashier. I ended up getting my second bottle anyways when my partner purchased it, ya know - since it's one per person :)

They have earned my business.

I stopped into Rocky Gap Grill on my question to get a hot dog in every county in Virginia. There…read morewere tons of options for Bland county and I was thrilled to find Rocky Gap Grill after striking out elsewhere. My understanding is that the current Rocky Gap Grill ownership just recently took over within the past few months. As I was ordering the wonderfully kind person at the register asked for my patience as she didn't work there. haha. Patience definitely and happily given. I ordered a hot dog with chili, mustard, and cole slaw and a corndog then took a seat in the dining area in the back. It was clean and well-maintained. My food came out quickly (maybe too quickly...). I started with the corn dog. After one bite, I could tell something wasn't right. The inside was still cold....very cold. When touched the outside, the breading was still cold too. I ate the ends which were the warmest but left the middle. The hot dog was fine. Nothing amazing but I finished it. Cole slaw with red cabbage is tricky sometimes as it gives the whole slaw an interestingly purple hue. That all being said, multiple staff members including the owner (I think) asked how everything was and I didn't mention the issue. So that's on me. They were very attentive and wanting to make sure I was having a good experience. Thus, 4 stars.
