First off, buyer beware. We didn't use this contractor because his quote was $2300 over other…read morereputable painting contractors in Granbury. Same paint, same process. During the initial communications with Ralph, he was going out of town, so I sent my contact info to him and he said he would come over between 9am and 12 noon on Monday. So at 3pm, I messaged him asking if he was going to make it? He made up a lame excuse and scheduled for the next day. When he arrived, he didn't even remember that we talked about painting just the brick and spent 10 minutes talking about the eaves. 1st red flag. Finally after going all the way around the house, he stopped bragging about his company enough to listen and get it. Second red flag. According to him, he was so busy painting hundreds of houses a year, that getting on the schedule was going to be (let's say challenging). So after he sent us the quote and we said okay, magically he could start the following Monday. Third red flag. We said no, we wanted to take more than 3 days to figure out the colors since we didn't have enough time that week. So we decided to get some more quotes on the project to ensure the price was fair. The other quotes came in $2300 below his quote, which meant he was trying to gouge us and wanted to hurry the job. Fourth red flag. He wanted $9,700 and the others quoted $7400. Now that's' a BIG difference for the same work and same paint. Let's just say he wasn't happy about us using another contractor after thinking he had us on the line like a big fish. He wanted to discuss the price, but there was no way that was going to happen after getting the lower quotes. We went with Wences Painting and couldn't be happier with the results.

We bought a home in Texas while we were still in Colorado, and after just a brief walkthrough, they completely understood our style, preferences, and overall vision for the house. As soon as we closed, we turned over the keys. In just one week, they delivered a fully renovated home that was ready for us to move into. The amount of work they completed in that timeframe was incredible: new flooring, new paint, a completely updated kitchen, new gas-range stove, updated lighting, and renovated bathrooms throughout the home. Even more impressive, I was coordinating so much of this remotely, and they made the entire process feel easy. Communication was excellent, decisions were handled smoothly, and somehow the finished product turned out exactly the way we wanted. That level of execution, especially from a distance, says everything about the quality of this company. We are beyond thrilled with the outcome and so thankful for their work. Joseph Hardy's Painting is outstanding, and I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for a company that can deliver beautiful work, fast turnaround, and an exceptional overall experience.

We got our first quote from (RL) and he was outrageous on the price. So we contacted him and he came out the next day. His manner was professional, informative and courteous. Jimmy was our second quote and we thought it was very reasonable. Once we decided on the colors, we scheduled the work. Our request for the brick trim was different from the house color and a challenge for sure. The crew did an excellent job and worked hard in the Texas heat. We will use Wences Painting again to paint the eaves, garage door and downspouts in the near future. The current paint is okay, but we want a better contrast from the main body of the house. Jimmy gave us an acceptable quote already. They power wash the surface, caulk any areas that need it, prime it and then put two coats on. It comes out pretty nice as you can see in the before and after pictures attached.
