Lorena is amazing at balloons and the sweetest person ever! I needed a balloon garland for my…read morefriend's baby shower in Denver (I live in CA). I reached out to multiple companies and Lorena was the only one who replied promptly and was willing to work with me to understand my vision. After talking with her, I knew she cared about my event and would do an amazing job - she's been doing this a long time and is passionate about her craft! After our initial call, she even texted me so I could send her some pictures and she could confirm the colors I wanted and the way I wanted it to look (mixed colors instead of colorblock). About a week before the event, she reached out again to confirm time and date, and let me know the information for the day of contact. On the day of the event, the balloon artist showed up on time, was very professional, and had the garland up and ready quickly. The garland came out beautiful, and my friend plus all the guests loved it! Everyone took pictures in front of it and commented on how awesome it was! Thanks, Lorena, for making my event a success!

PIcture it........Thornton, Colorado, April 25, 2020 where the parents of a little boy just getting…read moreready to turn 4 has to explain to him why he can't have a birthday party with all his friends & hope that he understands (damn pandemic!!). Well that is what happened to my daughters good friend. Now I swoop in because I've decided that this adorable little boy needs to have a birthday & presents from us so I went online & found a present that I had shipped to him that he got in 1 day (though it said 2 days so I was happy. And y'all can guess which company it was.). But wait, that's not all! I decided that it's not a birthday unless you have balloons so that's when I used my handy dandy Yelp app & started searching for either a florists that also did balloons or just a balloon business in or near Thornton. Everything showed closed due to Covid but then Balloons Elite popped up so I gave them a call. Lorena was so helpful & said that they were just allowed to open up. Boy was I a happy camper! I explained the situation & Lorena was more than happy to do her magic! We agreed on an arrangement price of $50 which included her delivering the balloons the next day (04/26/2020) on the little boys actual birthday. And I let her design the whole thing. Lorena delivered it the next day & he was so happy! Nothing beats good customer service as I am a real stickler about that but Lorena definitely went above & beyond to provided great customer service & in record time! I highly recommend Balloons Elite for those in & around Thornton as well as those who are out of the area or as in myself my case, out of the state (California).

After looking at the pictures DMN has listed in their gallery I was very excited to work with them…read morefor my wedding. However, I was sadly disappointed with the whole process. I scheduled my consultation with them in the summer of 2017 for a wedding that was not to occur until March 2019. I had the added stress of being an out of state bride so I wanted to book the vendors early on. I was informed they do the decorations for Cherry Creek during the holiday season and was shown their warehouse, which is extensive. This was a large part of why I booked with them. I was assigned to a decorator named Clara Dostal and was excited to share my ideas with her but was told to wait 6 months until my wedding in case my ideas changed. I have had a consistent idea in mind for my wedding décor for several years (long engagement) but I agreed to wait. In the mean time I got no communication from them what so ever. Finally, in September I reached out to schedule a walkthrough with DNM in my venue to discuss our plans, but my calls and emails went unanswered for 3 weeks. Apparently my decorator was too busy even to do a simple return email/phone call. Finally we heard back from the decorator and were able to schedule our walk through. During this I explained my general color scheme and overall vision. I specifically asked for a quote that would include a ceiling feature, a light wall in the reception space, and a specific head table backdrop. I was told that this quote would be ready within "the next couple days." We did not hear back from her for a week so politely sent a follow up email and was told they required 2 weeks for quote turnarounds. After another week and half we reached out again, but did not hear back from her for a week. We are understanding people and would have been fine with giving her more time had this need been communicated. However, this company prefers to ghost their customers rather than communicate appropriately. At this point we reached out to the owners of the company and relayed our concerns regarding communication. They ensured us that our email and concerns would be addressed soon. When we did get the reply from Clara it was mildly rude, and, essentially said this was their busy time of year and she would get back to us when she could. At this point I had become concerned regarding the dependability of DMN to provide a quality product to us at our wedding. I felt like I was being treated as if my wedding was a second thought, if not a down right hassle for this company. I was frustrated considering it was them who asked that I not reach out until 6 months prior to my wedding only to be told it was their busy time of year, and, they did not have time for us. My worries were confirmed when we finally got the quote which did not include the ceiling feature I asked for or the light wall. The back drop feature was not even remotely similar to what I requested and the picture provided was copied and pasted off of the internet. The quote was over $12,000, which included only 3 generic pictures. I personally wanted to feel like my big day mattered to DNM, especially considering the price they charge for their services. We stopped communicating with DNM at that point and began our search for a new decorator, which was not easy given the short amount of time to our wedding. About a month prior to our wedding our decorator finally reached out to us, at which time we informed her we had gone with a different vendor. Just to make this clear, it took her 4 months to write us an email. After this the owners reached out to us, said that they had fired this employee due to many other similar complaints, and promised us our $250 deposit back. It is now August, and we are still waiting for this refund. I highly recommend you go with a different decorator! DMN does have talent, and can make things look amazing. But getting them to care about a wedding is hard to do. Especially if your planning window in anyway overlaps with the holiday season. ***Update, DNM has reached out and refunded us our deposit.
