Whispering Willows has been a favorite charity of mine for the past couple of years. I had an…read moreelderly friend that moved into a nursing home and was forced to find a home for her elderly dog. Whispering Willows took Alfie in and gave him a great home with love, care, acreage to explore and fellow brothers and sisters to bond with and share his final years of life. I was able to visit the sanctuary this weekend for a fundraiser, Sanctuary birthday party and open house. Whispering Willows not only lives up to but exceeds my expectations after seeing it in person. A great space and a great team caring for those elderly pups that have been neglected, abandoned, abused or just out of options. Certainly worthy of my charity donations.

Absolutely awesome! One of the few true "country docs" left in this world! I mean…read moreseriously.....WHAT vet will take eggs or chickens in trade for services??? I haven't had to go that route but my dad says he's been known to do that! He's great with the animals and so reasonable in pricing too. I had to take my two kitties in for their annual wellness check (requirement by my landlord) and I live in Springfield MO. A local vet wanted $112 to just look at my two cats. They didn't need any vaccines just a wellness check. I decided to take them to Doc Cramer and the total charge was $40. Well worth the 100 mile round trip and $10 in gas. Doc Cramer is 90 years old and although he's slowed down considerably he still comes to work!! His grandson is following in his grandfather's footsteps and is just as awesome! He's the one who took care of my kitties this time around.
