I politely passed as I don't think I'd like my dogs being in a type of place that cart blanches an entire breed. I would understand if maybe she needed to have a trial day or something but found it a bit odd. If boarding they are out of cages 8 hours and their excercise is dog play, no walking. Like I said very nice, not suited to my outdoor loving dogs.

Her patience…read moreis infinite, especially when I send her 5 emails in an hour asking about this dog problem or that new dog product. She always takes the time to answer me back and can always be relied upon for an honest opinion. She continues to help me with my two frenchies and I would be up sh*t creek without her guidance and support. She teaches easy to use and practical skills that everyone, who takes the time, can implement with ease. She also runs a variety of classes that cater to fearful dogs, confidence booster and rally obedience (to name a few). Her classes are fun, great for socializing (both owner and dog) and are full of useful information. I cannot recommend Where's Your Sit and Jade as a private trainer strongly enough. Right from the get go, I trusted her and listened to what she had to say. The proof is when people approach my dogs. They are well mannered, socialized and listen to me. I just shake my head at all of the people who own dogs and have no idea what to do with them, speak to them like babies, blame the dog for bad behaviour, don't allow the dog..to actually be a dog. If you want to build a better bond and relationship with your dog, hire a trainer. Jade is the best!

We started with Dr. Large at another clinic but once we discovered she had moved to Benson View, we followed her there very quickly where we found the ladies at reception always kind and helpful over the phone or in person. Dr. Large was not only wonderful with our cat but also caring about us as pet parents, recognizing that we would do almost anything to keep our girl as comfortable and as happy as can be for as long as possible and there were times we could have been charged much more than we were. We will be forever grateful that she introduced us to Solensia to help with a very difficult paw problem (and to the kind techs who administered it for her) and that she discovered hyperthyroidism as a cause of severe digestive upset when another clinic did not even test for it prior to the surgery that seemed to trigger it. Dr. Large was very kind when it was discovered a few months ago that our girl likely had GI lymphoma, supporting us in our choice to not putting our fragile kitty through another surgery to definitively diagnose it when we knew we could not put her through chemo. The steroids (that would help either condition) worked very well for a few months until came the time to make the very difficult decision in a pet parent's life. We had been rather traumatized by the euthanasia of our previous kitty in a different city and were very apprehensive. We and our sweet little girl felt very supported by all of the staff at Benson View on her last day, having our own quiet room to go through the process of her passing, giving us time and privacy and it was a much more gentle experience for all of us. It may be some time before we are ready to have another special kitty enter our lives but when we do, we will definitely take any future pets to Benson View for care!
