Darrin did a quote with my wife, then when I called him asking why it wasn't done and when it would be, he said said it sounded low and he would have to come out. I told him that was fine and he said 3pm, 2 hrs later I called after not seeing him he said oh I forgot I'll be there in a half hr. As he was working on a house down the street from mine..... 2 more hrs passed and he didn't show. I text him and called the next day left message that I understood he was busy but would like a response, 3 days later I get a text quoting me 4 times the amount he told my wife. I responded that he could keep my business if he came down in price as I wasn't happy with his professionalism and again no response. Guess he doesn't care about his customers....

I have noticed many Magnum Transit locations, so I want to be clear that this review is for the one…read morelocated in the Beaver Dam area. We hired Ron to do our excavation project, putting up a double retaining wall with a staircase next to it and installing a new sidewalk. We were told this could be done in about 10 days...it took 6 weeks. There was miscommunication (continually) regarding construction, and due to his miscalculation of materials, it cost us an extra $7,000. Workers would not show up for days ( these were clear days with mild temps!), only to be told that he had two workers out with injuries. (Why would you take on a project without enough workers available?). Communication was very poor during the entire project. The sidewalk had to be re-poured due to faulty workmanship the first time. I hesitated to post this review because I give contractors the benefit of the doubt when I can, but I'm hoping to relieve someone else of the frustration we experienced with this company.
