He listened to what I needed, he educated me as we worked through my various issues. He has really worked hard to create a custom workout for me, which changes as I change. The best part of this is he comes to your home, works around your schedule. I workout in my Jammie pants, he never judges me! Having a personal trainer vs the gym. You don't get the results because you may or may not be doing the workout correctly. It helps keep you accountable when the trainer is at your door, so no lame excuses. He is affordable if you factor in you get his full attention, he knows what it is to have a weight issue, he has made the change and is aware of what needs to happen if you want to change. I like that Carl has a degree, and is an expert of what your body can and will do. Hiring Carl has been worth every penny. Put myself first and it has paid off!

I used her one on one coaching and she was extremely attentive and detailed in my plan, which was 100% customized to me and my level. She was also able to help me adjust when I came down with covid mid-way through training. I think I would have bailed if I were doing in on my own! I used her group plan for marathon training, and was able to complete my first/only marathon under my goal time. I definitely recommend Jen for coaching and would use her in the future for specific running goals!

Then the pandemic hit & I needed to have someone hold me accountable & make me move. Jen not only got me moving, I actually kindof like running! Not only that, but I've changed how I look at my body. While I don't think I'll become a marathoner or an all the time runner, I've actually had runs where I not only was feeling confident & good about what my body could do but I thoroughly enjoyed it & almost didn't want to stop. Her focus on strength, nutrition, & seeing your body as an amazing instrument not an ornament is so motivating. Would highly recommend her to anyone whether you're a seasoned runner or someone just looking to move & get stonger!

I've been paying $460 a month for 12 months. I thoroughly enjoyed my workouts and believed to have…read morea great relationship with Nicole. As I approached January this year, I articulated that I was in the process of growing my family. As most women know, when there are challenges here and medical demands, timing is not always on our side- especially for those that like to plan in advance. I told Nicole that I needed to pause for a month due to medical and would love to regroup once that process is complete. This medical journey could be 1 month +. Instead of supporting a long term client, she charged me anyway, offering make up classes in the future. When I asked her for flexibility to hold payment from this contract given my medical situation, she said she doesn't give "handouts" and "it's in the contract", zero empathy, zero situational awareness, zero understanding of women who are exploring Fertility journeys. This would be different if I wasn't a year long client, always showing up excited to be there. As I go to my make up session that (she had to reschedule herself because of her own schedule challenges), she disputes my concerns, says I'm ridiculous & taking advantage of her, that this partnership is clearly not working, and swiftly walks out of the gym before our session even starts. It was almost planned. Her level of professionalism does not hold when she thinks she's right, and you are wrong. This was the worst display of leadership in SMB I've seen in a long time. Instead of working with me to hold payment, and continue when my medical journey is green again, she takes the money for one month and runs, with an opportunity loss of $460 x 8 for the remainder of the annual year (3600+). Having worked with contracts for 20 years myself and being the daughter of an SMB owner, there is always flexibility when the client matters. How quickly she was willing to drop a client, was concerning. To abruptly leave a gym without closing up and locking facility was inappropriate. Everyone has bad days, but you never burn bridges in business. It doesn't matter if you're a trainer or an executive, professional conflict resolution should always be at the top of your list, even if you have a contract. Long term, your brand is always held on how you treat people. *Nicole proceeded to send me canned emails saying she wishes me the best, highlighting the credits, while gaslighting the situation and insinuating it would be comfortable for a client to return in that environment, which it is not.
