This is the Asian restaurant Costco. You can find a lot of Asian grocery items such as rice,…read morespices, condiments, seafood, meats, vegetables, cooking equipment, dishes and even restaurant supplies such as menu covers, receipts, pens, etc. For example, if you love boba and you want to make it at home yourself, you can get all the fixings here. If you meal prep and you need meal prep containers and are spending more than $1/container, get it here. If you have a big family and you want to buy your items in bulk, come here. It's more like a warehouse so don't expect a Crate & Barrel environment. Some might judge but trust me, it's the same stuff you'll find at other stores but will cost you 2-10x more. Anyway, bottom line is if you don't mind a little dust and want to save money, make a trip here and make sure you have space in your trunk so you can make your trip worthwhile. Don't come here just for a bag of straws. You might as well go to Pavillions. But yes, I'll come back when I need a refill on supplies.

They even have containers for meal prep- restaurant to go containers, toiletries, etc. All the boba drink necessities you need to make at home or for parties. (Did it for my daughter's birthday - all her friends loved it.) Prices are decent, especially for what you get. Such a fun place to explore if you've never been - and love stocking up with Asian condiments and seasonings- like I did! 9 out of 10 for me, enjoy!

Every time I'm here, I can usually find some rarely seen items, such as Japanese tofu bread (I can't really detect the tofu flavor, but I love the texture), strawberry rice cakes with sweet red beans, mitarashi dango (sweet rice cakes with soy sauce glaze), Shiroi Koibito (Hokkaido white chocolate cookies), and so much more. That said, I did notice that prices here are slightly higher, even compared to the Japanese market down the street. The good thing is they provide parking validation if you park in the plaza.

It was unnerving. I'm a foodie, who shops at Mitsuwa, Nijiya West LA, and all Tokyo Central markets. I've never encountered an issue for suspicion of a crime, for being brown skin at a market, until this Nijiya. I've never shoplifted, nor committed a crime. But this racist manager discriminated me for my skin tone. I was so surprised. I should have confronted the idiot for targeting me, but I don't like confrontation. Instead, I decided to mess with the idiot. I proceeded to speed walk from aisle to aisle while shopping. I'd pretend to enter one aisle then turnaround and exit quickly to see if he followed me. He did. I decided to play a game of cat and mouse. In reading Yelp reviews on this Nijiya, I agree with the reviews that say the customer service is dreadful. I had an unfriendly cashier. The woman looked me up and down, and was suspicious of me, as I paid for my groceries. I don't know what happened to these employees before I arrived to shop, but don't make me a target of your racism. This market doesn't value me as a customer. I will never shop at this store again. Worst staff.

Their marinated galbi short ribs are delicious, their marinade tastes like restaurant quality. There's also a good selection of marinated meats. They also serve hot foods like Korean fried chicken, kimbap, fried rice, and japchae located towards the back of the store. There's also a good selection of banchans, and I love their kimchi. The store is clean and well stocked. The lines for registers tend to move fast. Parking is free for two hours in the structure with validation. I went to Zion Market with my mom on Sunday afternoon, March 15th. I had just come back from going…read moreout and ran into my mom in front of the elevator, and she asked me to go to the market with her. But honestly, this place is absolutely terrible and horrible. Both my mom and I agreed that we will never come back here again. My mom had come to get a refund because one of the pears she bought the day before was completely rotten. The market manager refunded $2 to her credit card, which was fine. The real problem started after that. When my mom was trying to drive out of the parking lot, the gate bar went up after scanning the parking ticket, but then suddenly came crashing down. If my mom hadn't quickly backed up, it could have hit her car. The bigger issue was that after that, the gate bar never went back up again. Cars behind us had to use another exit nearby. My mom, who was very shaken, went to ask the market manager what to do, but she said she didn't know. (At first, I stayed in the car and had to tell the cars behind us to use the other exit because the gate was not working). I was very upset when I heard that, so I went inside and asked the manager for the building management's contact number. She gave me a number, but when I called, the person who answered kept saying she couldn't find the address even after I repeated it more than ten times. Eventually, she told me they no longer manage that building. So I asked her to provide the contact number for the property management that handles the building, and she gave me another number. but it led to an automated system. After selecting the emergency option, a man answered, but even after I clearly spelled out "Zion" multiple times (Z as in Zebra, I as in Ice cream, O as in Oscar, N as in Nancy), he still couldn't understand and then told me that they no longer manage the building and hung up. We arrived at the market around 5 PM and didn't get out until 7 PM. No one helped us at all. After the call, I went back to the market manager again, but she still said she didn't know anything. It made me so angry--how can a manager not even know the property management contact for the building they work in? I also have low blood sugar, so when I get hungry, I start shaking. I ended up buying a piece of bread from the Paris Baguette inside the market. I didn't have cash with me, so I had to pay $3.50 with my card, but thankfully, the staff there was very kind. In the end, my brother had to come all the way from Burbank to get a new parking ticket for us so we could finally get out--after two hours. If he hadn't come, we might have been stuck there even longer or had to abandon the car. Thinking about it now still makes me extremely angry. The customer service is terrible, the building management is a mess, and there was no security at all. I never want to come back to this place. We spent two hours there, from 5 PM to 7 PM, completely wasting our time. Because of this, I couldn't do anything I had planned for the rest of the afternoon and evening. It was an absolute nightmare. My mom was also very upset and couldn't believe a place like this exists. FYI) Every time I come to this market, there is absolutely no cell phone signal., which is another major downside.
