Owner was rude, left me stranded for 3 hours. He told me they'll get when they get there. Then threaten to cancel ride. Store was closing. Had to ask customers for ride home. This is second time they did this. Asked what time to get ride, he said "they'll get when they get there". I said thank u. He replayed "never". Worse service Some don't speak English. I have been using Hanks for the last 16 years. They were reliable when Hank himself ran the business. On Friday, January 30th 2026 I decided to take my room-mate out to dinner at the outback steak house. Since we both do not have a car we called Hanks. I was told 30 minutes. We waited almost two hours. Every time I called to ask about our ride I was yelled at and told that there are other people waiting. I had to call back the restaurant and cancel my reservation. Me and my room mate finally got to the restaurant. I had to beg the next door neighbor for a ride. I gave him $20.00. After we were done eating I called Hanks again. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. WHAT A MISTAKE THAT WAS!!!! I literally had to ask multiple people for a ride home. Hanks, as is never showed up. We finally got a ride home. An 84 year old man was nice enough to give us a ride. I offered him money but he did not want it. My mom knew Hank personally for many years; they were good friends. If she were alive she would have gone super nova on the shitty service we received. Hanks taxi service should be ashamed of the type of service they provide/not provide. Had a couple ride with them that went OK (hence the 2 stars instead of just one). Most recently I arranged a pickup at a shop so I could get home after dropping my car. Called the day before and asked them to meet me at 8:30AM because I am on a working schedule. The time comes and goes with no alert that the driver is coming so I call. They obviously failed to alert the driver as shortly after I reminded them, the alert arrived. 15 minutes later, still no driver. I called again and was told that the diver had been redirected to a "priority call". Driver ended up arriving an hour late. I had to annoy clients by rescheduling my arrival with them, which is not good for business. Despite that misadventure, I tried them again today, asking that they pick me up at my house and take me to the same shop to get my car. I mentioned how they'd caused me a lot of time and possibly money in being late last time and asked if they could say they'd pick me up soon. The dispatcher was quite rude, saying I was not a priority and they'd get there in 30 to 45 minutes unless a priority call came in. I started to ask how I could be a priority call, but the dispatcher hung up on me. So, they get no positive recommendation and no further money from me. After Hank's hung up on me I contacted Uber, and in the 30 minutes I would have waited for Hank's to maybe show up or not I was already being dropped off at the shop. No thanks, Hank's. read more

I ran into one of your drivers this morning at the post office ( black four door Chrysler and bearded driver ) have photo. Parked in a fire lane running and no one in it. He seen me looking at the car and asked me if I had a problem. I said your parked in the fire lane. He told me it was none of my business. Since he was mouthy I told him I was making it my business and reached for my photo to take the photo I have. He ran back to the car asking if I was a cop? I told him yes retired. He felt I was impersonating. I never initiated the conversation he did, nor did I identified as an Leo just answered his question. Would be happy to show my credentials to any Law Enforcement Agency. So I ask do you want to use this company who has a driver with this mentality ? I would never put a family member of friend in a car with a driver like this. Now called Bill's or William Taxi cabs. Bill, my taxi driver was very quick in getting there to pick me up. I got updates via my cell phone of his location and he was there extremely quick. He knew the route to my house and got me home quickly. He is from New Jersey the same amount of time I lived in New Jersey. He is a friendly guy of course being from New Jersey. I gave him a five dollar tip for a $31 fare because of his friendliness and promptness. I will use them in the future. Great job Bill!!! read more

I called a cab to reserve a car to go to the airport. The driver arrived 20 minutes late and what was worse was someone had actually vomited in the backseat. When I mentioned this to the driver he was surly and drunk. He grunted something foul at me. I refused to get in that taxi and told that corpulent cheese where to go. I reserved a taxi pick up an hour early for location and to the destination to be taken too. I was given a 45 minute window till my taxi driver would arrive. My driver Ron was on time, helpful, and a safe driver. Making the reservation was easy and the lady I spoke to was very pleasant. The service communicates with you by texting your reservation info by telling you when you reserved, who you are reserved with, your driver's name and vehicle make and taxi number. I have used Hanks a couple of times and 2 drivers were very rude to me one refused to give me a ride to dialysis i told the dispatch I needed the driver to wheel me up to the cab(I'm in a wheelchair)I let them know. Driver arrived and refused to take me because he didn't want to wheel me out and he left.another driver for that company left me in the middle of the drive and said he was done and he didn't have to do it.now I'm paying 10 dollars one way to go 10 mins.away.so it's 20.00 round trip.the drivers are incredibly rude and lazy.i will never call them again.other companies have no problem taking me to my door in and make sure I get inside.hanks is a joke read more

First time ever using just a local taxi within Spring Hill boundaries. I have my favorite Limo service I use for airport & cruise transportation. The driver was impeccably dressed, pleasant, concerned, etc ~ 5 stars for Brad - - customer oriented, conscientious, caring, considerate - ABOVE excellent in all aspects. He even stated that he was going to back into my driveway, due to slight slope, so the car door had no chance of ever closing on me- attention to EVERY detail humanly possible. Flabbergasted on how phenomenal a brief 15 minutes could be. It was only a 15 minute service, but he was on point every second of the trip. I would use this service again but ONLY if I could get Brad as the driver AND most importantly, completely avoid the RUDE female that answered the phone when I called - downright abrupt, curt & disrespectful. She needs to learn even the most primitive "Manners". I told her it would be a less than 5 mile trip R/T, just needed a lift real quick somewhere and back, provided her with my address & gate code and then she HUNG UP on me! She never asked me for a callback phone# as 99% of companies do, she never told me how long it would be before someone would arrive at my home and gasp, she didn't even saying "good-bye" or "Go fly a kite" - just blatantly HUNG UP on me! I didn't know UNTIL Brad showed up IF I needed to call another company or not - Someone take that lady back to school and teach her basic etiquette of the human species! Do not use this cab service! First cab on this day was a white mini van with no air conditioning! Second cab took to the utility department then the bank had a meeting at the bank was paying for the cab to wait. Cab driver interrupted the meeting to tell us she had to leave even though we pay by the minute to wait. The cab stranded my disabled husband and myself in 95+degree weather. When I called to complain the office manager said screw you lady I have people backed up. Very rude and highly unprofessional my husband grabbed the phone and hung it up before a heated argument ensued! Use Uber or any other cab service!
