Outside you will find a huge amount of repurposed metal made into yard art and of course the Texas star is everywhere. Just when you thing the tour of le objects de arte is over, and you are heading to your car, you look back and see this huge, beyond huge red chair. It is so big that you need a step stool and then use the supports of the chair as a ladder to get into it. G decide to scale the mighty chair and sit for a photo opportunity. A family of 5 -10 could easily fit it in this chair. The chair itself had to have been 20 feet tall or more. If you take your picture in the chair, and send one to the owner, he will place your picture and the date it was taken on the wall. Yes I did buy some things when I was here. They all fit in my luggage, but if I lived here I could leave some serious cash at this place. Don't sneeze thru Refugio or you will miss this place.

They have an exuberant staff and a wide variety of booths with more antique vendors than rustic crafts. I dropped in today to purchase a ribbed grilling skillet I've had my eye on for quite a while. On the way out I spotted a small three legged cauldron in remarkable condition and after much self deliberation I picked it up! As it turns out. With the burner plate removed it fits perfectly inside the hole, directly over the fire ! Just like it was MADE for my wood cook stove! In this manner it can most efficiently bring it to boil. I'm so pleased I didn't DITHER! Being this close to Halloween it would have been gone by next time I got back to Floresville!
