While The Good Feet Store does sell footwear, they have an extremely small selection. Why? Selling shoes turns out to be not really what they do. What they do is sell a system of various inserts for one's shoes to help with various ailments that cause foot pain and discomfort. The footwear they sell has (presumably) been vetted to be effective with their insert system. I was greeted by the sole employee shortly after I entered by being asked whether I had an appointment or not. I told him that I was really just looking for another pair of shoes, and he remarked about my Brooks footwear being great. One of the brands they sell is Brooks. He added that they may be able to fit me in for a fitting if I could wait for an hour or so (that a fitting takes approximately 45 minutes). Since I didn't have the time to spare, and since I only needed a new pair of shoes, I opted not to wait. He gave me his business card and said that I could call at any time to make an appointment. At this point, I was still a bit confused, honestly, because, as I said, I'd just entered and was looking to purchase a pair of shoes. I'd have really appreciated it if the employee had explained to me what they do since he seemed to have assumed that I already knew (which I didn't). How I found the answers that I included in my introductory paragraph was by reading the signage on the walls inside of the establishment after the employee finished with me to tend to the other customers. I'll consider their system if I ever find the need to, but if you're just looking to purchase footwear, this is probably not a good place to go.

We found that their "refund policy" is actually not a REFUND policy; it is a "they'll keep trying to change your 'prescription' until the 90 day time expires" policy. The only way to actually get a refund from this unethical business is a doctors letter that the person cannot wear the arch supports due to a medical problem. My wife was one of the few who got refunded, due to a severe medical problem. Beware ! My opinion: we should all begin picketing these scammers ! The YELP 5-star reviews on this page are transparently, obviously. faked by their own employees. I'm writing the Better Business Bureau and the WA State Attorney General next. The front office does not seem to offer many activities for children, and I only saw one child during my experience here which leads me to believe that the target audience served here is likely the elderly. There are restrooms available, though, likely not for public use. Bring your own water because there are no fountains around! Unsure about the staff, other than Jessica, at the front desk being friendly and helpful! Both ladies managing the front do a great job. I was referred here by Carolyn Weaver, at St. Vincent De Paul to Doctor Tek Fish. He is no longer accepting patients at this time, and there are 4 alternate providers who are taking new patients. My appointment was with Doctor Barnes. I have Molina insurance. This clinic offers inserts for $65 and custom orthotics for ~$600. There was an ease of scheduling and the clinic also offers additional out-of-pocket treatments. Unfortunately, insurance only covers custom orthotics if you are diabetic. My old orthotics were full length but very thin. In some shoes I would put another liner under them for cushion. These new ones are thicker and are layered material so Wally can make small adjustments by shaving sections down some. I really feel like I got new feet installed. I still have to wear certain shoes for my condition but with these new orthotics I can really go on long walks now without being in pain. I recently got my second pair so my first pair are a year old and still going strong and I wear them 100% of the time, seriously in all my shoes and even my slippers. Why wouldn't I when they stop my pain. They might not work for delicate girly shoes but I have given up fashion for comfort a long time ago when my feet first started hurting. I got a generic "well, we'd like to work with you first" which to me doesn't say "you can never return these." Now they are falling back on "it's on the receipt" which is such a cop out. I work in retail and we are always very clear with customers at time of purchase what can and can't be returned. It's that simple. So now I'll have to follow up with my lawyer friends and the state to see what kind of legal recourse I have. My question to Good Feet: why make it so hard? wouldn't really kill you to be gracious? Buyer beware.
