I was diagnosed with stage IV metastasized Triple Negative Breast Cancer to my liver in April of 2014. My liver was almost completely consumed. This was after my first fight that started in July of 2012 and lasted 1.5 years. I started a very tough chemo trial in May 2014 and found Dr. Eliaz in July of 2014. I was in pretty bad shape when I found Dr. Eliaz and was actively looking for a nurse to help me on my bad days because I was no longer able to take care of myself. This is a far cry of my normal life of being a 38 year wife/mother with a 2 and 4 year old, running my company to boot. I started Dr. Eliaz's protocol and followed his lead and my gut toward healing and I'm now in a much better place. My cancer has shrunk 75% total with the combination of chemo and Dr. Eliaz healing help. He is a true Integrated Doctor. I do NOT need a nurse to help me on my bad days and I'm able to completely enjoy my life now. I, of course, have bad days but they are not even comparable to before starting being treated at the clinic. I not only feel better physically but I now have much better healing tools to help me be at ease in crazy stage IV cancer storm I live in. I have no doubt in my mind I am truly loved by these people!!! Yes, his protocol is amazing and helpful but nothing compares to the benefits you receive from the love and compassion these people treat you with. They make me want to be a better person. How many doctor,s nurses and staff have ever made you feel that way?? It's pretty rare and amazing. My family and I are blessed to have found them. Like I said before, there are words to describe how beneficial finding this clinic has been at saving my life. I will be here to see my girls grown up and I know they will be behind me every step of the way. PS. My only regret....I wish I would have knew about this clinic and these other treatment options the first time I had cancer. Do yourself and family a favor...Do NOT wait until your stage IV to make better choices.

I've been going to Dr. Isaac Eliaz for 13 years, or almost half my life…read more Isaac is not a typical doctor in any way, but he is the best I know. His brand of medicine is the best blend of Western, Chinese and Homeopathic practices imaginable. He cares deeply for everyone he works with, and I don't he or his office, has ever refused care to any patient for lack or insurance or money. His personal expertise is with cancer patients and his clinic is one of the most "living " places I've ever been. His reputation is well deserved and therefore it's sometimes hard to get an appointment, but if you or someone you care about is suffering from cancer, and aren't satisfied with the medical care being provided definitely give them a call.

Their office provided me with a kit to collect specimens at home. I read all the instructions carefully and sent in my kit to the lab. Two weeks later I ask if the results have come back and they leave me a message saying there was something wrong with my specimen (see photo of voicemail transcription) I immediately call the office, asking if I did anything wrong and they tell me that the specimen is expired which didn't make sense to me, so I call the lab where I sent the specimen to find out from them what went wrong and they tell me that HILL PARK MEDICAL provided me with an expired kit!!! I call Hill Park back and say, hi it was the kit you gave me that was expired, not my specimen, and ask if they can do anything to make it right, and they just say no, you didn't pay for this so what do you want. Honestly what would have made ALL THE DIFFERENCE here would have been if they would have called and said, "Hi, we're so sorry for our mistake! We made an error that is going to be very frustrating for you because you had to collect samples for three days and now you have to go through that again and wait two now weeks for results. We want to make this right with you..." But instead they acted like it was my fault the sample was bad and I had to find out on my own what happened. We did pay for an expensive office visit (through insurance) and I'm shocked they wouldn't check expiration dates.

There is no question, Dr Kemnec will be an integral part of my ongoing health team! Additionally, I found her quite professional and supportive reviewing my personal health history. I highly recommend her services. Sincerely, An impressed patient

I left this clinic feeling dismissed and honestly disrespected…read more I had just driven all the way from Novato (Marin County) to Santa Rosa for my appointment, and I even got pulled over on the way, which added a lot of stress. When I arrived, I asked the front desk where the restroom was. But before I could go, the orthotist came out, called my name, and immediately brought me to the back. He didn't ask if I still needed to use the bathroom, even though I had just said so out loud -- he just rushed into the appointment and said, "This will be quick." That moment may seem small, but when you're dealing with pain (I have carpal tunnel), had a long drive, and are clearly overwhelmed, it felt like there was no care for my comfort at all. On top of that, when he asked if I had been icing my hands and I said yes, he gave me a look that made me feel like he didn't believe me. I was doing my best to manage my condition, but instead of being met with support or encouragement, I felt judged and ignored. Patients deserve to be treated like people -- not just appointment slots. A little compassion, patience, and basic communication would have made a huge difference. Instead, I left this appointment feeling worse than when I walked in. I hope this review encourages more awareness in how patients are treated -- especially those dealing with chronic pain and traveling far for care

For overall satisfaction, I would give him a 3 except that he is very nice, I think he has…read moreextensive knowledge within the conventional sphere of cardiology and I suspect he is an excellent surgeon. So he gets an extra point for social skills and expertise. If you have atherosclerosis or some other common heart condition, he may well save your life, at least in the short run, and have great success even over the long term. He may also have saved my partner's life when his heart was seriously fibrillating, though I think an earlier doctor at the hospital really gets the credit as being the one on duty first. If you want to try out alternative medicine, he is not your man (though he seems to have nothing against taking extra CoQ10, magnesium and d-ribose if you think of it yourself). Also, he does not seek out root causes that may be outside the field of cardiology, such as possible causes for lone atrial fibrillation (which according to my unprofessional research of publications could be due to B1 deficiency - in the US most likely caused by alcoholism, or Lyme disease, thyroid or other glandular problems, diabetes, or something else.) I give our case as an example. Lone atrial fibrillation is our issue. It may not be yours. Expect prescription heart-related drugs. Do your own homework about side effects. He did not seem helpful when we raised concerns about long-term side effects. When we talked about warfarin a couple of years ago, he did not discuss the pros and cons of warfarin versus other anti-coagulants, but just tried to scare the patient into continuing warfarin. I feel this is negligent. There are alternatives, including at least two other prescription drugs. Perhaps insurance won't pay for them, but that is no reason to withhold information about them. (Insurance or economic conditions for the patient may change, after all. Warfarin is a Vitamin K2 antagonist and as such can cause osteoporosis, by the way. Other heart medicine may also cause osteoporosis. Dr. Bowden is not concerned. I am. It would make logical sense to monitor bone density over time. Nobody is doing that.) Regarding atrial fib, his only explanation was that in this case it was probably caused by a virus, and if you went looking for it, it would be gone by now. In my humble opinion, settling too quickly on that as an explanation fails to rule out other causes, thereby potentially missing something very important. (Though to be fair, a prior blood test did not suggest thyroid problems, so we can probably rule that one out.) He is assuming the cause is now gone, and only the atrial fibrillation remains. I am not so sure the initial cause is gone. I know the patient. He has other problems that have not been addressed (including possible Lyme disease - given the number of tick bites he has had, sometimes while sleeping, so the ticks were on him for hours, not minutes) and if they are not the cause of the atrial fib, they most likely contribute to his overall ill health, including adversely affecting the atrial fib. Unfortunately, the patient cannot afford to pay for any tests that his conventional docs do not think to do. All in all, if I had to have a cardiologist in an emergency, I would not be worried if Dr. Bowden was assigned to me at the hospital. For long-term care, though, I would look beyond Dr. Bowden. His may be focusing too narrowly within his specialty.
